Sampurnanand Sanskrit University (सम्पूर्णानंद संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय वाराणसी) is a state university specializing in Sanskrit Literature. The university was established in 1791. It offers admission to courses like Shastri-Pratham and Acharya-Pratham, etc. It is a university that is widely known for its motive of promoting moral values and ethical culture.  

The University offers education in Veda-Vedanga Faculty, Sahitya Sanskriti Faculty, Faculty of Philosophy, Sramana Vidya Faculty and Adhunika Gyan Vijyana Faculty. There are various facilities offered by the University i.e. Library, Hostel, Health Center and Spiritual Center.

Sampurnanand Sanskrit University Application Form

University offers both Offline and Online ways to apply for admission. A student needs to fill the form as per the guidelines stated below.

• The application form needs to be downloaded from the official website of the university.
• And all the details like educational qualifications, bank details, personal information, courses opted, date and age, etc need to be filled properly.
• All this information should be filled aptly and should be absolutely correct.
• Once all the details are filled, passport size photograph and a signature need to attested along with the form.
• After this, the form should be submitted along with the application fee as prescribed. 

Sampurnanand Sanskrit University Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for  different courses is stated down below:

For admission into Uttarmadyam: A candidate needs to clear the high school examination with good grades and must have scored at least 45% marks in Sanskrit. (40% marks must be obtained  by SC/ST/OBC candidates).

For Shastri Pratham:

The applicant must have cleared the Intermediate class with 45% marks in Sanskrit and 40% marks need to be obtained by SC/ST/OBC students.

For Aacharya Pratham:

The applicant must be a B.A graduate and must have scored at least 45% marks in Sanskrit. (40% marks must be obtained  by SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Sampurnanand Sanskrit University Application fee: 

•  University’s application fee is very minimal. A candidate applying for admission to the university needs to pay Rs.100 as the application fee while filling the form.
• The most important aspect to be paid heed to is that the application fee needs to be paid via e-challan at any branch of Allahabad bank. 

Ph.D. Admission guidelines:

• Candidates must have a valid PG degree with 55% of marks in aggregate to apply for Ph.D. program.
• Those candidates can also apply who are appearing in the qualifying examination. But after the final result they will be eligible for this program.
• Application fee for Ph.D. program Rs. 1000/- for Unreserved and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates.
