RMLIMS Admission Process

• Admission to MBBS is based on the NEET-UG exam score.
• It is important to note that, admission to MD, DM, and MCh courses will be based on the NEET-PG exam score.
• Counselling is the final stage of the admission process. 
• The reservation policy is as per the Government of India guidelines.
• This course chiefly consists of 19 subjects.
• It is most important to note that, exams are held annually.
• There are also facilities for research and journal writing at the end of the 3rd semester.

RMLIMS Eligibility Criteria 

10+2 pass from CBSE or any equivalent state board exam.

Physics, Chemistry and Biology should be main subjects. 

It is most important to note that, candidates should have minimum of 50% in PCB. It is point to be noted that candidates who are under reserved category will have given a relaxation in marks.

RMLIMS Ph.D. Admission 2026

 Ph.D. program started in the year 2013. However, the program is conducted as per the KGMU guidelines.

Experienced faculty and MCI recognized/ permitted departments are eligible to become chief guides.

It is most important to note that, students are trained in areas like research methodology, bio statistics, computer use, etc.

This ensures general proficiency as researchers in biomedical sciences.

Successful candidates are awarded “DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY” from KGMU, U.P.

Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have UG and PG degrees with at least 60% marks.

MD/MS/MDS students must have at least 60% marks in MBBS/BDS.  

Ph.D. Entrance Test shall be conducted by the KGMU. There will be secure funding for eligible Ph.D. applicants. 

 It is most important to note that, entrance exam will be a written aptitude test.

Ph.D. Entrance Exam Syllabus:

• Logical thinking, human biology (10+2 level),
• General awareness, research aptitude
• Basic computer knowledge (class 10 level).

Qualifying marks will be 55% for general, 50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Then, qualified candidates will be called for an Interview. 

The entrance exam qualified candidates and JRF’s, will have to submit an application to the Head of the department.

It is most important to note that, the candidates have to specify his/her chosen field within 15 days of declaration of entrance result.
