IGNOU 34th Convocation 2023: IGNOU, also known as Indira Gandhi National Open University is an institute which was established by an act of Parliament in 1985. It is recognized by NCTE and AICTE. The institute is considered as the world leader of distance learning.
IGNOU is going to announce its annual convocation on the main campus at many regional centres of IGNOU and as well at Maidan Garhi and now University has officially started the registration programmes for its next convocation for the aspirants who successfully have completed various programmes from University from the last session. This will be broadcast by the official website ignou.ac.in.
Updates Regarding IGNOU 34TH CONVOCATION:-
It has been confirmed that the university will start collecting online applications for the degree or certificate for the students who have completed their diploma or degree from the following session and, commonly, many of the aspirants are still waiting for the next IGNOU convocation to get their certificates from the university. The registration will be done only by online method and it is expected that the date will be released by the university in the following sessions also the university will be releasing the dates as well for the IGNOUW 24TH convocation and its occasion.

Important Fee Update for Convocation:-
The fee is decided to be Rs 200 for PG and certificate courses as well but the fee produces for the courses like master’s degree, bachelor’s degree, PhD or diploma courses will remain as 600rs by per candidate. Also, the duration for submitting the online form is too short hence aspirants are requested to pay their registration fee before the last date.
Instructions to be Followed for 34th IGNOU Convocation:-
The aspirants are requested to reach with a Valid IGNOU ID card and take a seat before the arrival of any chief guest. The only mandate thing is an ID card and nothing needs to take with you while reaching the centre. Hence if a non-registration candidate failed or gets missed for the convocation then he/she can visit any of the allotted regional centres of IGNOU and can pay Rs 600 as a form fee by Cash challan to receive the Certificate
Eligibility Criteria for 34th IGNOU convocation:-
The aspirants who have completed their diploma or degree course in TEE December 2020 or in June 2023 are eligible for getting registered on the 34th IGNOU convocation via online mode. They will be soon awarding their original degree certificate at the Convocation venue.
Notice related to Certificates and PG certificate Programme:-
The certificate and PG certificate program students have to pay 200rs for applying in IGNOU convocation and also for getting their certificate form of IGNOU. If an aspirant has completed a program during certificate or post-graduate program then he. /she doesn’t require submitting any of the fees. The certificate for completing the program will be sent via post from the university.
Where you can Attend 34th IGNOU convocation- Must check
You can attend the convocation in the preferred regional centre which they have selected for their specific course. You can also attend the convocation event by your nearest neighbour city if there is no event as such organised in your regional centre. If an aspirant failed to visit convocation but he/she have paid the fees then he/she can obtain a certificate by Post by the university.

The candidate can follow the official website link for the registration of the Upcoming IGNOU convocation. There is a very simple procedure which didn’t require any document for filling from only thing is the enrolment number to get registered and if the aspirants have successfully registered for the online convocation then he/she must need to check the status in 2 working days after submission of online application.
What to do if Degree Certificate not received?
If any of the desired candidates failed to get registered for the convocation then no certificate will be issued by the university for that particular person. Hence many of the aspirants have seen waiting for months and years for getting their certificate delivered and if a student misses the deadline of the convocation then he/she may not be worry because all the aspirants can collect the convocation form by their regional centre or from IGNOU Maidan Gahi. And also they can fill that form properly and attach the fee of Rs 600 along with DD for getting their original certificate they can send it to IGNOU Maidan Gahi in Delhi although it can be submitted by visiting the head Office of IGNOU.
