Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan now known as Central Sanskrit University is a University that was formed to promote the oldest language Sanskrit. It was established in the year 1970. It is located in New Delhi. It functions under the eye of Ministry of Human Resource Development. The University provides Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate programs in different fields. It offers Certification courses of 6 months in 3 specialization namely Prakrit, Pali and Sanskrit Journalism.
At Postgraduate level, the institute offers one program that is MA (Acharya) for the duration of 2 years.
It also offers 3 years Ph.D program in Vidyavaridhi specialization.
