Rama Devi women’s University is a public institute for women established in the year 2015. This was the first women’s University in odisha. The Chancellor is the governor of Odisha. It is affiliated by UGC, NAAC. The main mission of this university is to educate women. It is named after Rama Devi Choudhari.

ELEGIBILITY CRITERIA
As the name suggests the college is only for women. So women can only apply for the admission.
If candidates want to take admission in BSC
- They should have passed 10+2 with Biology.
If candidates want to take admission in BSC hons like physics, chemistry, mathematics
- They should have passed 10+2 with mathematics.

Rama Devi University APPLICATION PROCESS 2026
STEP 1
✓ Candidates must login to the official website. They should have the valid mobile number and registered email id.
✓Select course applied
✓ Select the subject you are interested in
✓ Select the department.
✓ Pay the fees through any mode like Debit card, credit card, NEFT, net banking
✓ Fill all the required details accurately and submit the documents mentioned.
Note: Students need to submit the hard copy with documents in the University office by 3rd July. Admission will start from 16th July and end on 6th August. Class will commence from 7th August. The last date of submission of online application is 21 June. The last date of submission of all hard copies with documents in the university office is 1st July by 5pm (the dates are tentative).So interested candidates can enroll themselves now.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
- There will be career assessment and viva voce
- The written test will be a qualify test of 40 marks
- There will be 40 multiple choice questions and all questions will be of 1 marks each.
- The candidates need to secure 30% in order to qualify
- The entrance test will have 50 questions from research methodology and rest 50 from concerned subjects
- The candidates who have qualified NET, GATE, ICAR, SLET are not subject to give the entrance test.
- However the free candidates need to give the viva voce test
- The viva voce test is of 20 marks.
- The viva voce test is conducted by the 3 senior most faculty of the university of department commitee.
