Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) was established in 2003 by the Government of India. Also, it is a UGC recognised University. Also, the College is popularly known as PIMS Loni. Furthermore, the Parvara Institute of Medical Sciences Universityincludessix colleges and offers many undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma level programs. Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Loni Admission dates 2024 are not yet announced. However, the institute usually releases the admission dates in the month of May or June. The University is specialized in the field of Medical and Health Sciences with an aim to serve the society as a Center of Excellence. The degrees, diplomas and certificates that are awarded by the University are approved by Government of India, Government of Maharashtra and other states as well as by University Grants Commission (UGC), Medical Council of India (MCI), Dental Council of India (DCI), All India Physiotherapists Association (AIPA), Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and Nursing Council of India (NCI).

A separate committee is formed by the university for handling the cases related to ragging. Members visit twice a week the places which include ragging inside or outside the campus to avoid cases of ragging. Members take very strict action against those students who are found guilty of ragging.

Admission Eligibility Criteria in PIMS Loni

All students have to acknowledge the eligibility criteria of the university. Candidates should have completed the minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission for the first year of MBBS/BDS Course.

MBBS: The candidates must have cleared 10+2 examination with aggregate 60% marks in their respective subjects from CBSE Board or any other equivalent board. Also, the candidate must have to qualify for the NEET UG exam.

PG Programmes

For PG Courses candidates must have an MBBS Degree from MCI recognised Medical College and also completed an internship.

Meanwhile, Candidates also qualify NEET PG exam.

Ph.D Programs

Candidates who are seeking admission to this course must possess a PG degree in the relevant subject. This program is full time and part-time. A candidate can choose according to their choices. An entrance test will be occurred followed by personal interview for admission in the Ph.D. program. The minimum duration is 3 years and maximum duration is six years.

Candidates who have qualified NET/GATE examination are exempted from the entrance test but they have to go through the personal interview. Candidates who are seeking for part-time Ph.D. programs are not eligible to obtain benefits of any type of fellowship.

PIMS Admission process can be done through online or offline registration with the registration fee of Rs. 1500/- through Demand Draft from any associated bank.
Though the Demand Draft should be in the name of “Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni”
Meanwhile, qualified students have to attend the counselling process for admission.
