Who can apply through OFFS Bihar?
Students who have passed the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), the Central Board for Secondary Education ( CBSE), the Indian Secondary Education Certificate (ICSE) or any other national / state board of directors are eligible to apply for admission online.
Students can apply online at www.ofssbihar.in via the Common Application Form (CAF) and can be accessed from any location where internet facilities are available. The online admission application fee is Rs. 300/- only, and the mode of payment is defined in the Common Application Form (CAF).
This method makes the entire admission process straightforward, accurate, hassle-free and cost-effective, thereby reducing applicants/parents’ anxiety about the selection and associated queries.

As we have already mentioned in the introduction that the application fee is 300 but let us discuss about the different mode of payments which the govt has made available for the easy access to the student
- Online payment either by using credit card , debit card or by the interent banking
- Download e-challan and pay the cash to the nearest bank branch.

NOTE: There is no need to send / submit hard copy of application form or other documents. The entire process is online only. However, a hard copy of the documents is required at the time of admission to allocated college / school.

Now let us see the step wise process to submit the online application form
Step 1 Visit the OFSS Portal and click on the “CAF for Intermediate” link or the candidates can use the direct link given on this page.
Step 2: Intructions for filling out the form are going to pop up. Read all the directions and press the Agree Terms and Conditions check box. Then press the button “Click here to fill in your application form.”
Step 3: Provide personal and academic information in the OFSS Bihar Inter Application Form 2023. Also, upload scanned a scanned picture in the prescribed format.
Step 4: Provide correspondence address and reservation info clearly.
Step 5: Now enter preferences for schools / colleges and streams. Applicants can make a minimum of 10 choices and a maximum of 20 choices for schools / colleges.
Step 6 : Please preview the application form and check all the details submitted. Click the Confirm button to proceed further.
Step 7 : The OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Send the received OTP to the space given.
Step 8: The candidates are re-directed to the payment gateway. Choose the required form of payment and pay the application fee.
Step 9 : After successful payment, the Transaction I d will be shown on the computer. Click on the “Print Application Copy” button to print the application form.
- NOTE: Multiple applications are not approved. Only the first application shall be considered for admission. Further applications are ignored.

- The first and the foremost step is the submission of the online application form
- Following receipt of applications, a Composite Merit List shall be drawn up on the basis of the preferences submitted by the applicants and their merits. 3 merit lists have been released. Spot admission round is also conducted at the level of the institute, if the seats are vacant. Students should review the merit list on the OFSS website. Selection information is sent to registered mobile numbers and email IDs of the applicants.
- After receiving information for selection via SMS / email / website / notice board of the institute, students must download the letter of intimation from ofssbihar.in.
- The selected candidate must report to the designated institution on the date and time indicated in the letter of intimation. The following items / documents must be carried out when reporting for admission
- Original certificates of the candiate
- Admission fee in the form of cash or DD
- Recent passport size photos
