NUALS Admission 2026: Application Form, Eligibility & Last Dates

NUALS Admission 2026-27: The National University of Advanced Legal Studies offers admission to several UG, and PG degree programmes in the field of legal studies. Candidates who wish to make their career in the field of law and legal studies can pursue their degree from NUALS. The university accepts the marks scored by the candidates in the CLAT 2026 entrance examination for admission to the courses offered. The CLAT 2026  entrance examination was conducted on 3 December 2026. Candidates were required to attend the examination for admission to the top universities in the country.

NUALS Admission 2026

The university offers several programs including BA LLB, LLM, PG Diploma, and Ph.D. The BA LLB program is a five-year course offered by the university for undergraduate students, while the LLM program is a one-year postgraduate course with two specialization options.

The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi was established in 2005 underneath Act twenty seven. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) & it’s additionally a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The university offers five year BA- law degree programme supported the cut-off of CLAT examination

Admissions to Master of Laws will be done through the Common Law Admission check (CLAT) test

For admission in Doctor of Philosophy, candidates ought to pass the division Admission check

The university additionally offers some certificate courses within the field of law

Admission Counselling:

 NUALS Application Process 2026

Application Process for BA-LLB (Hons) & LLM:

Overview:

It is 5-year integrated program. This program is divided into ten semesters i.e. there are two semesters in each academic year.

Admissions to BA- LLB (Hons) & LLM will be done via CLAT. The application process for CLAT is as follows:

1. Register on the official website of the CLAT & fill the application form. Please read all the guidelines carefully before filling the form.
2. Upload all the necessary documents
3. Pay the application fee online through net banking debit/ credit cards

NUALS Application Process for PhD:

• The candidates need to transfer the applying type from the web site of the university
• Submit the applying type to the university beside the fee payment
• The applicants who do analysis within the recognised establishments can submit their application through the pinnacle of the establishment to the Registrar of the University

Note: The candidates who have secured a minimum of five hundredth marks in digital audiotape are eligible for the admission method.

NUALS Application Process for PG Diploma courses:

• Download the application form from the university website
• Submit the application form & upload all the required documents
• Eligible candidates will be listed on the basis of qualifying exam (Bachelor’s Degree) cut-off

• Jul 21 – 31, 2026— CLAT 2026 exam date (Postponed)
