NIMS, Hyderabad is situated in Punjagutta and Bibinagar in Hyderabad. It is not only a public hospital, but it also has a vast campus. It was established in the year 1991. It is affiliated with UGC, MCI, and AIU.
The university has several undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, PG diploma courses, research-level courses for the candidates who are willing to become the future doctors of the country.
Apart from that, NIMS is giving admission in the nursing courses BPT as well as BSc courses for the undergraduates and MD as well as MCH for postgraduate courses
The college campus is good. Teachers and staff are very supportive. It is safe for the nursing students. The university has library facility for the students. Nizam’s institute of medical sciences B.SC ADMISSION NURSING Admission
This 4-year long course is offered to the female candidates who are willing to get in the medical science stream.
The total marks scored by the applicants in their qualifying exam decide if they are selected or not. After the selection process, the university releases a merit list which shows the qualification marks.
Nizam’s institute of medical sciences BPT, MPT ADMISSIONS 2024
These courses are for candidates who are interested in physiotherapy. Bachelor of physiotherapy (BPT) for undergraduates is for 4.5 years, and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) for postgraduates is for two years.
CRITERIA OF ELIGIBILITY: the interested candidates must have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board of education. Selection is made from the merit list released by the NIMS University.
For MPT, the candidate must have a BPT degree to be considered for the selection process.

For the postgraduate level, Master of Surgery, Master of Medicine (MD) courses are for three years. Candidates have to give NEET PG for the consideration of admission to the university.

PG Diploma and Master of Hospital Management are professional courses which the university offers for a two years duration
CRITERIA OF ELIGIBILITY: the interested candidates must have completed their undergraduate in any stream. Eligible candidates are selected based on the marks they score in the exam.

Super-speciality courses like the Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch) and Doctorate of Medicine (DM) are also offered at the NIMS university for three years duration.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: candidates must have completed their Master of Medicine or Diplomate of National Board. The eligible candidates have to give NEET super speciality test which is followed by student counselling.
PhD ADMISSIONS
Candidates who are willing to study higher in medical sciences are offered a PhD at the research-level.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: screening test, as well as an interview, is conducted.
Nizam’s Institute of Medical sciences Ph.D. Admission:
The Ph.D. Degree awarded by the University is the highest degree of any program which is called Doctor of Philosophy. The speciality of this program is a subject title of thesis shall be indicated in the certificate.
Candidates must have PG degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
