Netaji Shubhash Open University is referred as a State Open University. It comprises of different schools that deals in major areas such as School of Humanities, School of Social Sciences, School of Sciences, School of Vocational Studies, School of Education and School of Professional Studies. Under these schools diverse range of courses are offered to students of this University.
Netaji Shubhash Open University Fee Structure 2026-27
Students of this University can pay their fees through two modes i.e. online mode and offline mode. If students are submitting their fees through online mode then they can do it either using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. Whereas, if students are submitting their fees through offline mode then they can do it by visiting Allahabad Bank with Challan after two days of approval.
Following are the steps of making payments through different modes:-
Students are required to click on “Pay Fee Online/Offline” tab. Then, they are required to enter their Application ID, Date of Birth and have to click on “Next” button. They must check the declaration and have to click on “Click here to generate bank challan for payment through bank branch” for offline payment and must click on “Click here for e-payment” for online payment.
Students are expected that they must download the fee payment confirmation receipt from the official website of the University i.e. www.wbnsou.ac.in after two days from payment date.

There are two methods-
The first is to pay fees using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.
The e-payment link will be made available at the time of admission. You can make the payment through you will be redirected to the payment gateway site.
Store the print of the receipt for future use.
The second is to pay via Indian Bank challan.
At the bank, deposit the fees along with the challan generated at the time of online submission. The copy of the bank challan should be kept properly for future reference.
