NDVSU Admission 2026: Nanaji Deshmukh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya

Nanaji Deshmukh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya is now known as Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University. This university has been established since 2009 by Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam. It is one of the state university which offers may Under graduate, Post graduate and Doctoral courses as its education. This institute is also known as NDVSU and offers admission in courses like B.F.S.C., BVSc & AH, DIP AH, MVS & AH, PhD. (VET SCI). Application form of the university as per individual’s course preference can be filled and submitted offline.

The Nanaji Deshmukh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya (NDVSU) provides all necessary facilities to the students such as Medical Support Systems, Canteen, Library and Information Centre, Practical Labs, IT Centres, Auditorium and many more facilities. It also has five polytechnic colleges awarding two year diplomas. Admission will be based on merit in the entrance Examination.

The admission process for NDVSU is conducted in two phases:

• Phase I: Entrance exam score is used to shortlist candidates for the interview.
• Phase II: Interview and extracurricular activities are used to select the final candidates.

NDVSU Admission APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Aspirants may get the application form from the university or can download the form and prospectus from the official link and may submit the form by submitting form fee which is INR 600 for Unreserved category and INR 400 for Reserved category.

Demand Draft needed to be submitted for form fee submission, should be in favour of the institute.

NDVSU Admission UNDER GRADUATE COURSES AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

NDVSU is the type of institution which offers many courses in different departments. There are totals of 87 seats available currently for BVSC & AH and 33 seats for BFSC in under graduate courses and further details are given below:

• BVSc. & AH

This is a full-time course and the duration of this under graduate course if 5 and a half years. Aspirants who have selected this course need to have passes 10+2 exams or any other equivalent exams.

• BFSC

This is also a full-time course. Aspirants need to have their 10+2 marksheets or certificate of any other equivalent exam.

Candidates seeking admission in any of above courses should be 17 years of age or more.

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be judged and selected according to their marks scored in State Level Entrance Examination which will be conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Bhopal.

NDVSU Admission POST GRADUATE COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

NDVSU offers post graduate course like MVSC and currently total seats available in this course are for 38 students. Further details about this course will be explained below:

• MVSC

This is a full-time course and duration of this course is 2 years. MVSC course are offered in 17 disciplines i.e. 15 in Veterinary & Animal Sciences and 1 in each Animal Biotechnology and Wildlife Forensic and Health.

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be judged on the basis of their score in All India Entrance Exam, conducted by university.

NDVSU Admission PhD AND DIPLOMA COURSES AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The institute offers PhD course in total 11 disciplines of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. The total seats available in this course are 20 in total.

• PhD

This is a full-time course for which candidates need to have his/her master’s degree from any recognised institute or college.

Selection Criteria

For the selection of candidates in this course, Entrance exam will be conducted either by Madhya Pradesh professional examination board or by Veterinary Council of India.

• Diploma

The duration of this course is 1 year in any discipline. Candidates who want admission in this should have his/her 10+2 marksheets.

Admission Rule for NRI Candidates:

The admission under NRI Quota seats will be NRI candidate himself/herself or children of NRI. Sponsorship from NRI relatives other than Father/Mother will not be considered.

The filled application form along with all necessary documents with fees of 150 US dollars by Demand Draft need to be submitted to Dean Faculty of the University till the prescribed date. The candidate must write on the envelope “Application form for admission under NRI quota 2026-27”.

Candidates who are from B.V.Sc. and B.Sc. courses, please check the official website because admission counseling has been started. At the time of admission candidates please bring the print out of application form with original documents as well as photocopies of these documents.
