All India common entrance test (AICET) is conducted by DGT for admission into Craft Instructor Training through counseling sessions. Instructors are being trained in a total of 34 trades and the training is conducted in over 28 national skill training institutes. The courses are conducted under the supervision of NCVT known as the national council of vocational training.
The full form of NCVT CTI is “National Council of Vocational Training – Craft Instructor Training”.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – NCVT CTI 2023
Here are some eligibility criteria for taking admission into NCVT CTI 2023.
- Should have done NTC/NAV from a recognized institute
- NCVT certification in relevant trade or any Diploma/Degree from a known Board of Technical Education
- The candidates who are going to appear in the exam of (AITT) final semester during July 2023 can also be considered in AICET for appearance. However, the final admission to CITS course will be subject to the completion of their training under CTS.
- If the candidate fails the CTS exam, then he/ she will not be allowed to continue the CITS course.
- There is no upper age limit for applying for the NCVT CTI 2023.

Admission for CTI (craft instructor training) courses will start soon as declared by the officials. The entrance exam will be held on 25 centers across the country. The aspirant has to be present in the allotted center for the examination. The aspirant has to visit the center on his/her own and sit for the examination. It is suggested to choose the nearest center for the examination. The aspirant can choose his/her nearest place as per suitability.
