National Brain Research Centre is an Autonomous Government Institute situated in the foothills of the Aravali range in Manesar , Haryana, India. It is established in 1997 and also popular by it’s initials as NBRC. It is the only institute in India who is dedicated to multi-disciplinary research in the field of Neurosciences and Education . Government of India has been awarded this university as an ‘ Institute of Excellence’, and it is also a deemed-to-be University.

National Brain Research Centre fee stucture and courses offer master and doctoral programmes to the eligible candidates. The candidate who is enthusiastic about career in Brain Research, must consider this institute’s M.Sc.(Neuroscience) and Ph.D programmes. If candidate fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to M.Sc. programme, then need to qualify Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS) and it will be followed by an intreview for only selected candidates in JGEEBILS. For Ph.D. , students may come from any different backgrounds as Biology, Physics, chemistry, Engineering, and Medical Sciences .After fulfiling the minimum eligibility criteria candidate should qualify JGEEBILS/GATE/ CSIR/UGC/DBT etc. Based on the marks scored in any given exams , candidate will be shortlisted to face an interview held by NBRC.
Application form fees for online applicants is Rs 200 for general category and Rs 150 for SC, ST and PH category candidates whereas fees for offline applicants is Rs 350 for general category and Rs 200 for SC, ST and PH category candidates. The candidates who has applied online are required to submit the fees through “SB Collect” of State Bank of India whereas for the offline candidates, they need to submit the Demand Draft that must be drawn in favor of Director, National Brain Research Centre payable at Gurgaon or Manesar.

The fees can be paid online and offline at National Brain Research Centre.
For online, the student has to submit the fees through ‘SB Collect’ of the State Bank of India.

If any student wants to pay the fees offline, they have to submit a Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Director, National Brain Research Centre payable at Gurgaon or Manesar.
The name of the student and program must be written at the back of the Demand Draft.
