Nagaland University is providing Research Methodology Course for Ph.D. Students in Social Sciences from 21st February to 2nd March 2026.

Nagaland University has released a notification regarding the Online Scholarship Application Form Submission for State Merit and Research Scholarship Schemes for the Academic Session 2026-27.

The students can visit the PORTAL (https://soholarship.anagaland.gov.in) for more details. 

The submission of the application can be done from 21st October to 30th November 2026.

The students who want to avail of the scholarship at Nagaland University have to submit the verified hard copies to the respective Head of Departments by the 2nd December 2026 for further procedure.

Eligibility Criteria in Nagaland University.

Therefore candidates who are willing to apply for Postgraduate courses they must have to clear their Graduation degree from any recognised University in any particular subject scoring atleast 50% marks in aggregate . Moreover the admission can also be based on the entrance exams as well as the person interview conducted by the University .
However candidates who are willing to apply for PhD courses they must have to complete their master’s degree in any particular subject scoring atleast 55% marks in aggregate . Besides that candidates have to appear for an entrance test along with an interview which will be conducted by the University .
Moreover the candidates who are willing to apply for M.Phil courses they must have to cleared their graduation degree from any recognised University scoring atleast 55% marks in aggregate (50% marks for SC/ST candidates ) .
