MTU Admission 2024-25: The Manipur Technical University is a public university offering admission to several engineering degree programmes along with management, social science, etc. Admission to the courses which are offered by the university is done on the basis of the merit list prepared considering the marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying examination. Manipur Technical University Admission 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria.

Qualifications:
• The Candidates filling application for B. Tech courses should have completed their 12th from a recognized board of education.
• Candidates Must have Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 12th along with an optional subject recognized by AICTE.
• The least percentile of the above subjects taken together should be more than 45℅ for general category candidates while 40% for reserved category candidates.
• Candidates appearing JEE should produce the valid passing scorecard.
Age Criteria:
• Candidate with birth dates on or after 31-07-1994 can apply.
• The relaxation to upper limit of 5 years is valid for reserved category candidates.

Documents required at the time of registration:

1. Photocopy of Certificate of High School Leaving Certificate Examination or equivalent class 10th Examination (as proof of date of birth)
2. Photocopy of Mark Sheet of High School Leaving Certificate Examination or equivalent class 10th Examination.
3. Photocopy of Mark Sheet of Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination or equivalent class 12th Examination.
4. SC/ST/OBC/ Person with disability certificate (if applicable). A photocopy of such certificate is required if candidates claims a seat under the reserved category.
5. Domicile certificate

MTU Manipur Admission Dates:

• The dates of JEE exams are rescheduled due to COVID-19.
• Application form are available on the college website for non- JEE candidates.
• Once the JEE examination date is finalized new dates of actions will be updated on the University website

Fees Structure of Manipur Technical University:

Courses & Fees.
• B. Tech= ₹57,150 per year.
• B. Tech {Lateral} = ₹57,633 per year.
Detailed fees structure:
• Year 1= ₹ 61,500
• Year 2 = ₹ 55,700
• Year 3 = ₹ 55,700
• Year 4= ₹ 55,700
• Total = ₹ 228,600

• The fees structure mentioned above is for General category students.
• 1/3rd Concession on tuition fees is available for reserved category students.
• The hostel and mess facility is available fir students. Above fees structure consists of total fees combining both tuition, hostel and mess facility.

Admission Process In Manipur Technical University:

• Selection of students for different streams and courses will be done on the basis of preference filled in the application form and marks obtained on JEE Mains 2022.
• The list of selected students will be uploaded online on the university website and also on the University Notice Board.
• Selected candidates need to complete documentation and fees according to the course and schedule displayed on the university website.
• Admission to all UG courses will be done through JEE entrance 2022.
• The vacant seat due to non-availability of JEE candidates will be filled by a separate entrance.
• Entrance will be held in the university premises.
• Candidate must be present throughout the counseling, course registration, and hostel admission.  

Registration Procedure:

If a candidate is applying for online admission then he/she needs to first register on the online portal. 

Click on the New Registration and fill the details of email and mobile number. Make sure that mobile number and email id must be unique. 

You will get a login id and password on your registered email id and mobile number. 

After using them you can fill out the application form.
