MSSV Admission 2026-27: The Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya University will soon release the application form for various courses for the 2026 academic year. Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya Admission Procedure
Application form for new admission is available both online and offline on the official website of the institute www.mssv.co.in
Candidates are expected to check the eligibility criteria and guidelines before filling up the forms.
Mode of payment of admission fee is online through Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/DD.
Candidates are advised to carefully fill up the details in the form and submit the required documents. Also it is necessary to keep a photocopy of the payment receipt and admission form for further requirements.
Candidates have to appear for entrance exam for final selection.

MSSV UG Admission 2026-27
For admission in BA course: Candidates should be 12th passed from any known board. They need to fill the form and admission to these courses will be done through merits in the last qualifying examination. In admission allotment of seats, verification of documents and payment of fees also plays an important role.
For admission in BPA course: Candidates should have qualified class 12th from a known board like CBSE , ISC, etc. For admission they need to fill the form available on the website. They must have proper knowledge of Performing Arts and they had to give the interview taken by the authorized staff of the University. Admission will be confirmed after the seat allotment, document verification and payment of fees is done.

MSSV Application 2026 Process
Candidates who wish to opt for MSSV Admission 2026-27 must ensure to submit the online registration form by visiting the official website of the university. The university will soon be releasing the online registration form on their website for the candidates to submit. - For offline mode:
Students need to collect the form from Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV) or they can also download from the website. They had to pay Rs 1500 as an application fee through the medium of demand draft or cash. After completing all the procedures they need to submit the form on campus.
- For online mode:
Students who want to apply for the form in online mode then they need to visit website https://mssv.ac.in and there only they need to fill all the details carefully in the application form. They can pay the fees i.e. Rs 1500 through online method of transaction like through debit or credit card, net banking etc. After this they need to press the submit button available there.
MSSV Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria in order to appear for the examination. The candidates who fail to satisfy these norms will result in the cancellation of their application forms. So before filling in the application it is important that you go through the eligibility criteria carefully.
- M.Phil candidates must be a post graduate student with a minimum of 55% marks in the subjects that he or she wishes to pursue in the course.
- 5% of the marks will be relaxed for all the reserved category students, or for the ones who have obtained their master degree before 19th September 1991.
- The above mentioned rules and regulations will also turn out to apply for all the overseas candidates, who have obtained a master degree from the statutory Indian/foreign universities.
- Ph. D candidates who turn out to have a post graduate degree from a recognized university with 55% marks, and 5% marks in the eligibility norms shall be relaxed for all the candidates under the reserved category.
- During the Ph.D. program, a candidate shall not be pursue any kind of program or course.
- Admission will be made on the basis marks obtained in the entrance test and personal interview.
- The above noted rules will also turn out to apply to the candidates who belong to different countries, and have obtained a master degree from the statutory Indian/foreign universities.
- The admission of all those international students who have gained 55% marks in their master degree, their passports might be considered when subjected to the ratification of the vice chancellor.
- During the on-going PHD programme the candidate will not pursue, any other program or course outside this program.
Required Documents:
Candidates who are willing to opt for MSSV Admission 2026-27 must ensure to upload certain documents on the portal while applying for admission to the courses offered by them. It must be noted that the documents are uploaded in the format as mentioned on the official portal of the university.
