MMHAPU will start selling admission forms on June 4th, 2026, and the last date for submitting filled-in UG and PG applications is tentatively June 30th, 2026.

The Bihar State Universities Act provided the framework for the establishment of MAULANA MAZHARUL HAQUE ARABIC AND PERSIAN UNIVERSITY in Patna. Bihar Act.9, 1992, having effect as of April 10, 1976, as amended (vide MHRD, Govt. of Bihar notification no. 1998 dated 22 November 2006). This university is recognised under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act of 1956 and has jurisdiction over the entirety of Bihar. With effect from December 2009, the University has joined the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

This university offers many courses for the students in many streams like humanities, social science, arts, science, and many more to do classes in like PG, UG, short term certified courses or diploma courses. And this university offers courses like BA, BBA, M.Sc, M.A., B.Com(Hons.), MBA, and so on. It also provides certificate and diploma courses along with other degrees.

As was just stated, prospective students need to complete the application by going to this university’s main website and clicking on the appropriate link. You can download forms from the organization’s website, and you will also need to fill out the relevant information as it is supplied to you, affixing your photo to the application form. In addition, you will be asked to pay the application fee. After that, fill it out, and then follow the instructions provided to turn it in together with the other paperwork.

Only applications that have been properly filled out, self-attested copies of mark sheets and certificates, and one self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 40/- postal stamp affixed to it should be sent to the assistant Registrar (Admin) either by hand, by registered or speed mail, or through the mail as soon as possible but no later than the deadline.

ELIGIBILITY FOR MMHAPU COURSES

For admission in different courses, you have required different admission procedures, respectively. The criteria of entry in any courses are :

• To take admission in courses like BCA, 10+2 in English and mathematics are eligible.
• Reservation will be given to students the rules of central and state governments. 
• To take admission in any 3year UG course, the learner should have at least 45% marks with any subject in 10+2 from a respective board.
• To take admission in B.LIS course, the student should have at least 45% marks in and stream like arts/ commerce/ science, etc. in 10+2 with any recognized board, will be eligible.
• To take Admission in MBA course, the student should have secured 50% marks with any graduate degree.
• Admission in any PG program, at least 45% marks is compulsory with graduation in any stream.

MMHAPU ADMISSION PROCEDURE

A prospective student must first visit the Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University’s official website, which can be found at mmhapu.ac.in, in order to submit an application for admission to the institution. The candidate is responsible for filling out the registration form, which includes information such as their name, the name of their father, their date of birth, their gender, and the category in which they fall.
