Mizoram University Admission 2024-25: Mizoram University will soon start the online registration portal for CUET 2024 examinations. Admission to various courses which are offered as a part of Mizoram University Admission 2024-25 will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the CUET entrance examination conducted by NTA. The online registration form for CUET 2024 is expected to be released in the month of April 2024.

Mizoram University is a central university, founded on 2nd July 2001. First, its Parent University is North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU). Second, this University is affiliated to Association of Indian Universities (AIU) & University Grants Commission of India (UGC). Mizoram University is situated in the capital city of Mizoram, Aizawl. Mizoram University has 35 affiliated colleges and one constituent college.

Mizoram University has a total of 33 academic departments providing UG, PG, M.Phil., and Ph.D. programs under 8 Schools of Study.
Mizoram University was accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC in 2019. Mizoram University was in the top 100 universities according to NIRF rankings in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

The university provides INR 16000 per month Rajiv Gandhi scholarship for JRF students and INR 18000 per month for SRF students.

Mizoram University is accepting applications for Junior Research Fellow research projects funded by the ‘DBT-BUILDER’ scheme, Government of India at the School of Life Sciences, Mizoram University.
The candidate who has completed MSc. Degree in Botany or Zoology / Life Sciences (Plant Science or Animal Science )/ Biotechnology with CSIR –NET/JRF/DBT-BET are eligible.

The procedure of Admission at Mizoram University:

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must understand the eligibility criteria before applying for the courses. Below are the details:

Undergraduate courses:

Candidates who would like to apply for Undergraduate courses should have maintained good records in Intermediate. Candidates must passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination in any discipline from a recognized board.

Postgraduate courses:

Candidates who would like to apply for Postgraduate courses must have completed graduation in the same stream and have good records.

Planning & Architecture course:

Candidates who would like to apply for this course must have a valid NATA score and obtain 50% of marks in 10,+2 examinations with specialisation in Mathematics.

MBA course:

Candidates who would like to apply for an MBA must have a valid CAT/GMAT/CMAT/XAT/MAT score as well as a score of a minimum of 50% marks in any stream of graduation. Final selection of all the candidates will be based on group discussion and personal interview.

Doctoral level courses:

Candidates who would like to apply for this course must attend an entrance test conducted by University followed by a Personal interview. Candidates who have passed NET/SLET/Fellowship programs/JRF/GAtE examination will be exempted from the entrance test. A short thesis will be submitted after passing the examination. The candidates must pass the entrance examination as well as the personal interview for admission to the doctorate-level courses at Mizoram University.

Mizoram University Application process 2024

Candidates have to download the application form directly from the official website of Mizoram University- https://mzu.edu.in.
Once it is downloaded, candidates have to fill in the application form with required details and must submit the form.
After submitting, the payment fee has to be paid.
Candidates will receive the payment receipt and send the copy along with the documents.
