MGCGV Admission 2026-27: Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday Vishwavidyalaya (MGCGV) is a public state university located in Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh, India. The entrance exam for MGCGV Admission 2026 is the Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday Vishwavidyalaya Entrance Test (MGCGV-ET). Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday Vishwavidyalaya was established in 1991. This University was established to help those people who live in rural areas. The University helps them to develop skills in the field of agriculture. They also help them to create awareness amongst them.

MGCGV Admission 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have successfully passed 10 + 2 examination or its equivalent examination with minimum 55% of marks in aggregate, then only they will be considered eligible for this course.

• For PG Courses:

The University has prescribed different criteria for different courses under PG Courses.

*University conducts an Entrance Exam for the admission in all courses. After Entrance Exam, those candidates had qualified the test they are selected for the counselling which is also conducted within the University. 

The entrance exam which University conducts includes the assessment of candidate on the basis of general knowledge, current affair and aptitude test.

Candidates who has met the eligibility criteria can only apply for Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday Vishwavidyalaya.

How to apply to take admission in Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday Vishwavidyalaya:

Candidates have to apply online by visiting their official website i.e. www.mgcgvchitrakoot.com . There is a certain fees for the application form.

Steps: 

1. Candidates must read all the eligibility criteria that is prescribed by the college.
2. After logging in to their official website, candidates are expected that they fill correct information in the form.
3. Then candidates are required to upload the scanned photograph and their signature in the form.
4. Candidates had to pay the application fees online in the bank account of the University.
5. Candidates can get the bank details in the official website of the University.
6. Then candidates are required to scan the fee slip of the bank.
7. Then candidates had to open fee submission option and had to upload the scanned slip.
8. After filling all the necessary requirements given in the form, candidates had to print out the hardcopy of the filled application form for future use.

*Candidate can get admit card online after filling admission form.

*Candidates are expected to keep the fees deposition slip which they get from the bank with themselves, so that they can submit it in the University later.

*80% Seats are reserved for the candidates who live in Madhya Pradesh and 20% Seats are reserved for the candidates of other state. This rule of reservation is governed by the government of Madhya Pradesh.
