MAKAUT BTech: The WBJEE 2026 admit cards will be available for download on April 20, 2026, through the official website wbjeeb.nic.in. The WBJEE 2026 exam is scheduled for April 30, 2026.

MAKAUT MTech: The response sheet for GATE 2026 is now available for download on the official website gate.iitk.ac.in. The GATE 2026 Answer Key will be released on February 21, 2026, and candidates can challenge it until February 25, 2026. The GATE 2026 result will be announced on March 16, 2026.

MAKAUT PhD: MAKAUT will be conducting the Research Eligibility Test (RET) for PhD Admission 2026-27 on February 19, 2026.

MAKAUT, WB Eligibility Criteria 

The admission process is based on both merits as well as the entrance test. However, candidates have to secure a good score from the respected modes of admissions.

Here, for the admissions in B.Tech courses candidates need to complete their 10+2 examination from any recognized Board with atleast 45% marks in aggregate, therefore, the selection to candidates will be based on the entrance exam.

Moreover, for the admissions in M.Tech courses candidates need to complete their Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized University. Candidates who are under reserved category must have passed B.tech degree with 50% of marks in aggregate.

Candidates who have a valid GATE scorecard will be given the appropriate weightage of the GATE score.

Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply.

While for the admission in MBA courses candidates need to complete their Graduation Degree from any recognized University. He / she must have qualified their JEMAT entrance test with a valid marks so that to get entrance to the University.

Admission will be based on entrance test followed by personal interview.
