Martin Luther Christian University was released for it’s various courses. However the college offers different specializations in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Martin Luther Christian University ( MLCU ) was established in July 2005 , Shillong , Meghalaya , India. The University is names after the Martin Luther , the father of reformation . The University gets affiliated by UGC, AIU, NAAC , and Medical Council of India. Therefore the University’s motto is the Alpha and Omega as embodiment of ” the light of truth”. Hence after more than two centuries of Christian Education in the country , MLCU is the first Christian University in India , that doesn’t focus on theological training.

Eligibility Criteria
- As the University is offering various courses under UG and PG programs therefore the eligibility criteria depends according to the subjects .
- B.Sc. candidates needs to clear their 12 standard examination with the subjects PCB. Whereas B.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition candidates must clear their 12th examination with the subjects PCB / PCM.
- However for the BA admission candidates have to clear their 12 standard examination.
- Whereas for Masters degree admission candidates have to complete their graduation in any discipline.
- However the University also offers different courses from Arts as Bachelor in Music.
- Hence they have to pass their 12 with a discipline stream.

• PhD course: It is the highest academic degree that can be earned. Candidates who want to seek admission in Ph.D. degree must master in that subject. The minimum duration of this degree is three years and the maximum duration is 6 years. It is full-time program. One must go through the entrance exam and personal interview.
