Manipur University Admission 2026-27: The Manipur University is a central university offering admission to various UG, PG, and PhD degree programmes in a number of fields of study. Admission to the courses offered as a part of Manipur University Admission 2026-27 is done by considering the marks in the entrance examination. Candidates who wish to opt for Manipur University Admission must ensure to appear for the CUET UG and CUET PG entrance examination. Admission to the One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Myanmar Studies has started at the Manipur University, Imphal. The candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree from Manipur University or an equivalent degree recognized by Manipur University are eligible for the course.

Eligibility criteria differs for each and every course you enroll in. The percentage of marks from recognized boards would be a key factor in assessing the eligibility for the course. For all UG courses, should have passed HSC and for PG courses, should have obtained a Bachelor’s degree. Admission procedure in Manipur University

All the application process is through offline mode (Have to visit the university). Eligibility for admission is based on Entrance exam scores or the qualifying exam whichever is required. The following procedure is hereby:

*The application is available in the University office for admission.

*Along with the application form, you can get the Prospectus at the University cash counter. All the information are given in the prospectus and also about all the courses with vast details.

* Application form can be downloaded from the website -If so fill in the application form and make a Demand draft and send all the relevant documents to the concerned head of the department.

• *Fill all the details carefully in the application form eg. name, address, academic details, email id and mobile number. Registration number then will send to you on your valid email id and mobile number.

*Entrance test scorecard (if applicable)

*Transfer certificate

*Two recent passport Photograph (Self attested)

*Gap certificate (if any) from concerned authority

Entrance tests in Manipur University Admission

The admission criteria is based on Merit score obtained from the Entrance exam. Candidates should pass the entrance exam conducted by the University. And also, candidates applying for B. E, MTech, MBBS based on GATE, JEE, NEET (whichever is applicable) would be considered for further process of admission. Candidates who apply for MA (in fields of History, English, History, Hindi etc.), MPhil, Physical education have to pass the entrance exam conducted by the University.

Added to the above entrance exams, even a written test or Interview would be scheduled based on seats availability or as per University panel discussion.
