The Manipur International University is a significant autonomous Public University established and also recognized by the State Government of Manipur. The University was set up in 2018 via Manipur International University Ordinance, 2019 which was notified in the Official Gazette on 26th June 2018. MIU has been significantly declared as the “International University of Excellence” and at the same time an “Institution of State Importance”.
Manipur International University interestingly invites application for various UG and PG courses simultaneously. Candidates interested can go through the official website of MIU. The university has eight schools such as Education, Humanities, Human and Environmental Sciences, Life sciences, Social Science, Medical Science, Engineering and many more. The university 86 affiliated colleges and one constituent college. The university provides computer centre facilities to students.

Manipur International University Courses
University offers a number of UG courses like BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Pharm, and also PG courses like M.Com, MCA, and M.Tech, etc. It also offers a Ph.D. Specialization specifically in Manipuri, Hindi, Dance, Linguistics, English, Philosophy, and many likewise courses. Manipur International University Admission Eligibility criteria
Candidates who want to apply must meet the minimum eligibility criteria which likewise vary from course to course.
For UG courses, the candidate, however, should pass intermediate with an at least of 60% from a recognized university.
For PG courses, the candidate must be a graduate at least by attaining at least 60% marks in his degree.
For Ph.D., at least 55% marks besides in his masters’ degree. Admission shall be made on the basis of entrance exam followed by personal interview which will be conducted by the university. Candidates who have passed NET/SLET/GATE/Or other national level or state level fellowship programs will be exempted from the entrance test.
Moreover, the eligibility criteria and age limit can vary depending upon the selected program by the candidate. A candidate can choose two or courses but for this one shall be fill the separate application form.

However, Candidates can fill the application form online mode only, and submit it at the same time after filling all the necessary details. However, the application form for the respective courses is available on the official website. On the other hand, the candidate can go through the website as different forms need to be filled for different courses.

The tentative dates for the entrance are scheduled to be soon in the 1st week of June. Therefore, the results for the same will be announced in a fortnight. However, candidates must check the official website frequently for regular updates.
Manipur International University Admission Procedure
It should be noted that the candidate once fills up the Admission form will be called up for further interviews only after the final result of the entrance exam. However, if he/she fails to do so, the application for that candidate will be rejected eventually. Furthermore, a merit list for the selected candidates will be posted on the official website of Manipur International University.
