Mangalore University Admission 2026-27: The Mangalore University is a public state university located in the state of Karnataka. The university offers admission to various UG, PG, and research level degree programmes. The online registration form for Mangalore University Admission 2026-27 has not been released by the university. It is expected to be released in the month of June 2026.

Mangalore University is a Public and State University in Konaje, Karnataka.  This campus is spread over 353 acres, overlooking the river Nethravathi. Mangalore University had been established in the year 1980, approved by UGC and accredited by NAAC-A. It has 190 affiliated colleges including two constituent colleges. Mangalore University offers Post Graduate Courses, Research Courses, Post Graduate Diploma Courses, Diploma, and Certificate programmes. 

Mangalore University provides education in different faculties i.e. Arts, Science & Technology, Commerce and Education. It also provides various facilities for students such as Computer Centre, Sports Facilities and many more.

The University has also developed a separate cell for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes students. It provides financial assistance to various programmes such as study tour, preparation of project reports, purchase of sports kits and Computer training for SC and ST students.

Admission Counselling:

Mysore University appointed counsellor members for undertaking the admission counselling process in which counselors checked the originality of the documents and maintained the records of the documents of the students.

Merit List : The merit list of Mysore University prepared by the officials of the University on the basis of students undertaking the process according to the different categories(SC, ST, OBC, General) and on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the last qualifying exam. • The Application process of this University is Offline.
• A Candidate need to submit the application along with required documents and application fees as per the required course. 
• The admission procedure is based on entrance test and merit list.
• Admission process for PhD :-
• Candidates can fill the application form online through official website of university. Download the form and take a print out. Fill the application form correctly and attach the required documents. Submit the application form along with DD in the favour of “Finance Officer” of university.

Eligibility Criteria:  Bachelor in Computer Applications or Information Technology or any relevant Subject with minimum 45% marks for General & OBC category and 40% marks for SC/ST category. 

Duration: 3 years

Master in Social Work (MSW)

Eligibility Criteria: B.A. with minimum 45% marks for General & OBC category and 40% marks for SC/ST category.

Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.)
