The university offers multidisciplinary higher Education courses up to doctoral level in various disciplines. This is the first state university using 100% survelliance and thumb impression attendance. There are five faculties in which 15 departments and two distance education center and community college. The aim of this university to promote socio economic development of rural areas and improve quality of life through purposeful education in multidimensional field.

The application forms are available at official website of the university. All the candidates can apply any of these courses as per their choices but they have to meet with the eligibility criteria. The admission in UG and PG courses is based on entrance test conducted by the university. Candidates who are taking admission in B.Tech and MBA courses should have score-card of JEE-Mains and CAT/MAT/XMAT respectively.
The fees for B. Tech (Biomedical Engineering) program is Rs. 144580. The fees for BBA (management) program is Rs. 39302. The fees for Diploma in Chemical Engineering is Rs. 55125.
The students who want to apply in post graduate courses must have a relevant UG degree with more than 55% marks.
The courses offered in various streams i.e. Applied Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Commerce & Management, Education, Languages, Fine Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Biochemistry, Music, Yoga, Library Sciences and Mass Communication.
