Maharishi Balmiki Sanskrit University is a sanskrit university by name, it would not only have traditional scholastic subjects but also includes modern subjects. The Government of Haryana has established the University for all round cultural development of the state. It offers various courses such as Prak Shastri, Shastri, Shiksha Shastri, Acharya, etc. There are various subjects that is to be studies under each course i.e. English, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Science, Home Science, Art, Philosophy, Hindi, medical technology, Zoology, Botany etc. The University provides Under Graduate Programme, Post Graduate Programme and Ph.D. Programme.
