Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology is situated in Udaipur City, Rajasthan and offers different courses such as Agriculture, Dairy & Food, Engineering, Fisheries, Community Science and Agriculture (COA) Bhilwara. These courses includes different eligibility criteria and students must ensure that whether they completely fits the criteria or not before applying for the admission.There are seats reserved for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, Disabled person and ICAR candidates in B.Sc. (Agriculture) and M.Sc. (Agriculture) programmes as per the policy prescribed by the Government of Rajasthan.
Applicants who are OBC/SC/ST are eligible and can apply for their scholarships. The annual income of the families of the candidates from all sources should not be more than 2 lakhs per annum. The student should have good academic record. Candidates must have all valid required documents.

The University also provides counselling to students before admission in which they are explained about various options of subjects and courses available to them and also tells them about the expected placement after completing the course. Students are also provided with accommodation facility for both boys and girls and also for foreign students. They are provided with well-equipped furniture, rooms and other necessary requirements are offered.
The prospectous along with application forms can be obtained personally by paying Rs 1000 in cash at the counter and Rs 1100 if students post the demand draft from the nationalized bank drawn in favor of Comptroller, MPUAT Udaipur. The registration fees can be increased or decreased as per the rules prescribed by the University.
