MRSPTU is a state technical university situated in Bathinda, Punjab. It has offered various courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and research levels. The university has been approved and affiliated by UGC and AICTE. Because of the demand for technical education, the university was established to mitigate regional iMBAlance in the distribution of quality technical education and socio-economic growth of the society.

For a candidate who is willing to seek admission in any of these programs offered by the university he/she must;
- Fulfill minimum eligibility criteria for basic qualification
- Fulfill all the conditions that are must for the academic session 2024-25
The courses offered by the university i.e. B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Arch, M.Arch, B.Pharma, M.Pharma, BBA, BBA-MBA (Integrated), MBA, BCA, BCA-MCA (Integrated), MCA, B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D. in various streams such as; Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Management, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Hotel Management, Basic Sciences, Fashion Technology, Textile design, and Tourism & Management.
Minimum eligibility criteria for 2024-25 batch admission;
- Passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Admission will be based on JEE Rank’s merit.
- The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination shall also be eligible for the counseling based on JEE merit.
- B.Pharma is started by the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University. The students who have passed D.Pharma can take admission in this course and fees will be INR 51800 per annum.
- Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University is now offered a degree M.Sc. for the students who completed the graduation.
