MahaDBT Portal

The MahaDBT Scholarships are given to students of Maharashtra to pursue higher education. These scholarships are aimed at providing financial support to students who are pursuing higher education. To apply for a MahaDBT scholarship, you need to complete the online application form. To begin, you must create an account. Then, you must login using your username and password. From here, you can manage your account. Next, click on the Create Profile option. MahaDBT Post Matric Scholarship

Eligibility

The students must complete 10th grade from a recognised board. The annual family income of the student must be less than Rs. 2.5 lakh. The student must be a domicile in Maharashtra state. These are the eligibility criteria for MahaDBT Post Matric Scholarship.

Social Justice and Special Assistance Department offer 5 scholarships schemes through MahaDBT portal to the students who are

For Government of India Post Matric Scholarship.

Eligibility –
• The candidate family income must be less than or equal to Rs. 2.5 Lakh.
• The candidates must be from SC or Navbouddha category.
• The candidates residential place must be in Maharashtra.
• The candidates should have passed the SSC/ equivalent matric.
• The rules are same for the students studying out of Maharashtra.

Benefits –
There is a benefit of Tuition Fees, Exam Fees and Maintenance Allowance which is paid only to the SC category candidates. Maintenance allowance is divided into 4 groups Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 and Group 4 per month for up to 10 months.

• Cast Certificate.

• The candidates should have passed the SSC/ equivalent matric.
• The respected students institute should be located in Maharashtra which is recognised by the Government.
• For only professional courses candidates should admit through CAP round.

Maintenance Allowance for Students Studying in Professional Courses.

Eligibility –

• The students should take admission to the professional courses and they should be the scholarship holder of the Government of India.
• Their family income should be less than or equal to Rs. 2.5 Lakh.
• Students who are studying with professional courses and residing in hostel.

Benefits –

• For the students who are residing in Government hostels whose course duration is between 4 to 5 years, they will get Rs. 7000 pa. And for course duration 2 to 3 years, students will get Rs. 5000 pa.
• For the students who are eligible for Government hostels but have not got admitted there, they will get Rs. 10000 pa for 4 to 5-year duration course. And Rs. 7000 pa for 2 to 3-year course duration.

• Warden letter ( in case of the student is not getting admission in a hostel).

Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship.

Eligibility –

• In the Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship, there is no criteria given for the specific income limit. The scholarship is completely based on the scholarship scored by the students in the previous examination.
• The student must be from SC category.
• The students have been studying in class 11 or 12.
• The students must have obtained atleast 75% marks in class 10.
• The student’s residential place must be in Maharashtra.

Benefits –
Students who will secure 75% marks or more than that and take admission in class 11 will get a scholarship of Rs. 300 per month for 10 months for 2 years, mainly for class 11 and 12.

Post Matric Scholarships for Person with Disability.

Eligibility –

• The students residential place must be in Maharashtra.
• With atleast 40% or above marks, the disabled students are eligible to apply.
• They must be studying in a recognised University or Institute.
• The scholarship will not be given if the candidate fails or leaves his/ her respected course.
• If the student is residing in any recognised hostel or in the college and he/ she is paying hostel fees then the candidates
• Maintenance allowance will be given at hosteller rates.

Vocational Education Fee Reimbursement.

Eligibility –
• The student’s family annual salary must be less than or equal to Rs. 2.5 lakh.
• Students must be from SC category.
• Students who have enrolled their names for vocational courses are eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility –
• The students must be a resident of Maharashtra.

Eligibility –

Government Vidyaniketan Scholarship.

Eligibility –
• The students residential place must be in Maharashtra.
• The student must secure atleast 60% marks in class 10.
• The student has to complete their 10th examination from the government of Vidyaniketan only.

Benefits –
The students will receive Rs. 100 per month.

The candidates can apply to DTE scholarship through Aaple Sarkar DBT portal. Aadhar number is a mandatory requirement for applying to any of the scholarship scheme. The candidates are instructed to follow the official website and all the details required for filling the application form. Before applying it is required to go thoroughly to the instructions because any mistake will cause the cancellation of the form. Steps you must follow during filling up the scholarship form are given below –

• Firstly, the candidates need to visit the official website of the Aapke Sarkar DBT portal.
• Then click on the respected scholarship which you want to apply and click on ” New Applicant Registration” to register your name.
