MAdras University is a public state university was established in 1857 located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is one of the oldest university of India. It has offered more than 200 courses in Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research levels. There are 121 affiliated colleges, 18 schools, and 53 approved institutes of academic programs.

- A pass in higher secondary examination (10+2) with minimum 55% of marks in aggregate.
- A pass in 10+2 examination from National open school, New Delhi.
- Three years diploma examination conducted by the state board of technical education and training after passing 10th standard examination.
- And a pass in two years foundation course examination.

There is no application fee for SC, ST category if they had submitted the caste certificate and Rs 50 is an application for other category students.

Fees payment can be made at the Madras University through the online payment portal of SBI Collect, follow the given steps given below to make fee payments easily:

- Fill the checkbox to agree with the terms and conditions and proceed to pay
- Click on “Proceed”
