KSLU Admission 2026-27: Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) conducts admission to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate law programs at its law campus and affiliated colleges. Admission to affiliated law schools participating in the process will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Meanwhile, admission to KSLU itself may require an admission test, and candidates are advised to await the release of the official KSLU admission notification for 2026. Tentatively, the KSLU 2026 application form is expected to be released in the last week of June 2026.

KSLU Courses & Eligibility Criteria 2026
The Karnataka State Law University offers admission to various UG, and PG degree programmes in the field of legal studies. BA LLB, BBA LLB, etc. are some of the degree programmes which are offered as a part of KSLU Admission 2026-25. There are certain basic eligibility criteria which the students must ensure to fulfil before submitting the online registration form for admission to the courses offered. We have mentioned below the eligibility criteria which are to be fulfilled before submitting the form.
- For LLB
- The candidate had to do graduation from open or deemed university after the completion of 10 + 2.
- The general category students have to score at least 45% marks and the age should be less than 30 years.
- For the SC/ST category, they have to score at least 40% and the age should be less than 35 years.
- For B.A, BA LLB, BBA, LLB
- Candidates had to qualify 10 + 2 examination.
- The general category students must score at least 45% marks and age should be less than 20 years.
- For SC/ST category, they have to score at least 40% marks and age should be less than 22 years.

Application Form
Applicants can get application form from the official website of the university i.e. http://www.kslu.ac.in/ also they can get from the law school of the University. Before filling the application form, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University.
Steps to fill KSLU Application Form:-
- Before proceedings please check the eligibility criteria which is given above and read all the guidelines for filling of the application form.
- Candidates had to download the application form from the official website and had to take out the printout of the form.
- After filling all the details, candidates had to submit the form in the University.
- Candidates also had to submit certain documents along with the Application Form.
- Documents such as-
- If the candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC/PH, they had to submit the document based on their caste/tribe/community.
- 5 recent stamp size photographs
- Eligibility Certificate, if needed
- Income certificate, if domicile is applicable
- Migration Certificate, if required
- Character certificate is must
- Photo Identity Proof such as; driving license/pan card/adhaar card
KSLU Eligibility Certificate
The eligibility certificate is for those aspirants who have passed the prescribed qualifying from outside Karnataka. So, they had to submit an eligibility certificate along with the application form.
Steps to fill Eligibility Certificate:-
- Candidates had to apply for the Eligibility Certificate to office of Karnataka State Law University. They can apply for the Eligibility Certificate through post or in person.
- Candidates had to collect the Eligibility Certificate from the Academic Section of the University
- The qualifying degree should be in Kannada or English. Qualifying degree in other languages will not be accepted.
- Candidates also had to submit original signatures.
Steps for registration process & to fill the online application for KSLU’s Services:
- Students need to use compulsorily Google Chrome Internet browsing application for registration process.
- Student Aadhaar Card Number with linked phone number is compulsory for successful registration.
- After successful registration, students need to use Mozilla Firefox Internet browsing application to apply for services.
- Then students are required to login with registered phone number and get OTP to apply for services.
- After login, under menu, students had to click on apply for services, and select view all available services.
- Under search row, type LAW, the list of KSLU’s services will appear.
