It provides 30 programmes in total. The University got the SACFA clearance and frequency allotment of 90.4 MHz from the Govt. of India to operate a Community Radio Station which is the first in the entire North East. KKHSOU PG Admission 2026-27

The KKHSOU offers admission to several postgraduate degree programmes in various fields of study. Ph.D. programme is offered in regular mode consisting of courseworks and research. The scholars admitted in the programme are required to work as full time scholars. They are also to undergo courseworks at least for one semester. Admission will be given based on performance in the admission test followed by presentation of the Synopsis before a panel of experts. The written test will comprise of General English, current affairs, general awareness and aptitude. There will be objective type questions for 100 marks and the duration of the test will be 2 (two hours). 30 candidates will be selected for presentation of synopsis provided they secure minimum qualifying marks 50% in the admission test.

kkhsou Admission Procedure 2026-27

For admission in a particular programme, a candidate has to visit the University’s website and admission will be done through online portal. All the guidelines related to filling of application form is given in the information brochure please read these carefully before filling the application form. The candidate has to submit all the necessary documents with passport size photograph for further verification. After verification, candidate will receive the e-SLM through mail. All the enrolled candidates will receive an identity cards. Whereas, those candidates who were unable to complete the programme within the given time period will be required to register themselves by paying the late fees as per the University regulations.

If any default found at the time of verification of documents, then the university has the right to cancel the admission of that particular candidate.

After completion of the particular semester, the candidate is required to take admission in the next semester simply by paying the prescribed fees within one month of the last examination date of the previous semester.

Entrance examination:

The students have to take the admission test for admission into the university. This test is conducted by the university in an online mode. One mark will be provided for every correct answer and there will be no negative marking. The question paper has 100 questions and each question carries one mark.

• All the exams are conducted in semester wise throughout the year. All the odd semester examinations will be held within December to March, all the even semesters examination will be held within July to October.
