The admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Kerala Kalamandalam University is expected to begin in June 2024. The university admits students based on their merit scores and performance in entrance exams. Admissions strictly follow a grading system. The application fee for General category students is Rs. 300, while SC/ST category students are required to pay only Rs. 100.

It is a deemed university of skill and civilization. This University is a platform for learning the Indian dancing skill of the southern states of India focused on Kerala. Kerala Kalamandalam, Thrissur Qualification needed :

1. Bachelor of Arts (BA): The Student before applying for the degree of BA must have passed the 12th class with a minimum of D grade. The applicant must be below the age of 23. The selection is based on the institute entrance exam.

2. Ph.D.:  It is a must to have a Post-graduation Degree in your relevant area before applying for Ph.D. The selection will be based on the institute entrance exam and the interview conducted by the institute.

3. M.Phil: The candidate must have a degree or post-graduation with a minimum of 55% in relevant subjects.

• Then download the application form for your essential course.
• After downloading the form student should fill the form and pay the application fees to the registrar.
• Post this filled form to the given address – “The Registrar, Kerala, Kalamandalam, Thrissur”. With the payment slip under the date provided by the institute.
• You must have a separate photocopy of the filled form.
• The interview is a must for admission.

Admission Counselling:

The admission counselling of Kerala Kalamandalam Vallathol Nagar is conducted by the access counselors of the institute under the guidance and direction of the institution authorities.
