There are various streams i.e. Folk Arts, Folk Literature, Folkloristics, Journalism & Mass Communication, Tourism, English, Economics, Rural & Tribal Management. Application for the admission to Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctoral, Diploma and PG Diploma programs:
- Name of Course
- Enclose passport size photo duly self-attested
- Attach essential documents attested by gazetted officer
Incomplete form will be rejected and if found any fake documents along with the form, would be responsible for further complications.
The students can fill the application form online through official website of Karnataka Folklore University and attach the required documents. The students have to pay application fee online by credit card/ debit card and demand draft of Rs 300 (for General category) or Rs. 150 (for SC/ST category).
The Courses offered are; M.Sc, MJMC, M.Sc, M.Phil, and Ph.D. For admission to PG programs, a candidate must have a valid graduate degree in the relevant subject. Students who are from tribal areas so the focus is to the development of these pupils and strengthen the culture of the city globally.
