Application Form

The application form is available at the official website; https://www.jklu.edu.in/. Candidates can apply for various courses online. Candidates must fill all the details.  Then the candidates will have to submit the application and also the fees. It may be noted that the application fee is not refundable. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST Candidates), from a recognized Central/State Board/University in India or in any foreign country, equivalent to 10+2+3 exam, by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It must be noted that the candidates must also have equivalent CGPA.
• Students who have appeared in the final exam of 10+2+3 may also apply.
• Candidates also have to appear for the national level exams like UCEED, NID DAT, CAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT, XAT, JEE.
• Candidates who have not appeared for national tests, will have to give entrance test of JKLU.

PhD:

• Minimum 55% marks or 5.5/10 CGPA score in the master’s degree. However, in the case of SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks is 50% or 5/10 CGPA.
• Moreover, candidates with PG diploma can also get admission. They should have completed the diploma course, with 55% marks from AIU/AICTE institution.
• Most importantly, candidates need to complete the prescribed coursework within six months to formally register for PhD.

Admission Process

These are the steps for admission process of different courses:

• Firstly, candidates will be selected on the basis of national test scores.
• Secondly, previous academic records will also be considered.
• Thirdly, candidates will go through two rounds of interviews with senior leaders at JKLU.
• Finally, candidates will selected on the basis of merit based assessment and interview.
• Then, candidates will have to submit the non- refundable admission fees, as per the course.
• Students who have qualified national tests will be given importance.

PhD. Admission:

• The application form and prospectus can be obtained offline by a DD (demand draft) of Rs 600 in favor of JK Lakshmipat University payable at Jaipur.
• Alternatively, the application form can also be downloaded from the official website, along with a DD of Rs 600.
• Applicants who have passed the NET/SET/GATE or any other equivalent national test are exempted from the JKLU entrance test. 
• Then, the candidates will be selected for interview.

The candidates will have to complete the prescribed coursework within six months to formally register for PhD course.

Fee Structure

The fees vary for different courses. The detail information is available in the official website.  The amount has to be paid in two equal installments or half yearly or yearly. Some courses have pioneer scholarship. It may also be noted that some courses have specialization fees. 

Ph.D

Most importantly, eligible candidates will get Rs. 25,000/- Stipend. There  will be no tuition fees for pursuing full-time PhD Program.

The one-time caution money of Rs 10,000 payable along with first year’s fees. The above fees will be subject to an increase of up to 8% in every following  year.

 Scholarships

On basis of Merit: Scholarships from 25% to 100% of Tuition fees are offered. to bright students based on their 12th exam scores.

Merit cum means Basis: A few number of Merit cum means Scholarship, of 25% Tuition fees are given. This is offered to students whose parents earn below Rs 3 lakhs per annum. These students must have also obtained a CGPA of 7.0 or above.

Apart from these thing one major thing every students check about the university is the placements it has to offer. At the end of the day when students complete their course everyone is looking for best of placements and the JKLU University has given 100% placements in the past years. The university has one recruiting company for every two student in the final year. Infact 30% of students get placement in the first few week of the final year only. Placement matters a lot when you are starting with your career.
