Jananayak Chandrashekhar University has more than 120 affiliated colleges as govt. colleges, govt aided colleges and self-financed colleges. It is a public and state university that was established in the year 2016 which is located in Ballia, U.P. The university offers various UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses. The objective of this university to provide higher Education to those students who are from rural areas. There are various streams i.e. Arts & Social Sciences, Life Sciences & Technology, Commerce, Social Work, Education, Law and Agriculture.

Interested candidates who wants to seek admission in this university first has to meet with the eligibility criteria. For UG courses, admission will be based on 10+2 exam scores. For admission in PG courses, candidates must have a valid graduate degree and selection of candidates on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam conducted by the university. There is point to be noted that candidates who are under reserved category will have given the relaxation of marks at the time of admission.
Admission to LL.B, MBA, M.Phil, and Ph.D. will be based on CLAT, CAT/MAT/XMAT, NET/SLET simultaneously. Candidates can apply through online or offline mode as per choices.
