The ISDB Scholarship is granted by the Islamic Development Bank to Muslim students and learners  to seek their higher education in Saudi Arabia. The ISDB Bank has been operating towards the innovation, creation and knowledge sharing between the non-member countries and Muslim society of the member countries and to enhance and strengthen the abilities and capabilities of the qualified male and female students.

A scholarship program for girls in which they can get a one time reward amount of rs 25,000 as the scholarship amount for their further studies. 

The students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D., and Postdoctoral courses can apply for the ISDB scholarship 2024.
ISDB scholarship 2024 is also for the girl candidates who want to achieve their career goals.

The applications are being accepted for the Islamic Development Bank Scholarship Programme for the Academic Year 2024-25. The students can register by filling out the details in the form.

	ISDB Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral Research Program	Ph.D. level Eligibility Criteria: The applicant should have a postgraduate degree in one of the approved areas of Sustainable Science. The aspirant should have a study proposal in one of the areas of study of the program encompassing details of its scientific and development relevance to the community/ country. He/ she should have a very good and decent academic record preferably with some work/ analysis experience and knowledge. The candidate should be medically fit and be willing to experience medical tests after selection. Post-doctoral Research Eligibility Criteria: The applicant should have a PhD degree in one of the approved areas of Sustainable Science. The aspirant should have a record or account of publications/ research and study in the same field. The aspirant should be medically fit and be willing to go through medical tests after selection. He/ she should have a very good and decent academic record with 2 years of research experience. The applicant should have a research and study proposal in one of the areas of study of the program including details of its scientific and development relevance to the community/ country.

What are the steps to follow in the ISDB Scholarship application procedure?

• The candidate should visit the ISDB Scholarship portal and must register as a new user.
• He/ she should log in to the portal using the credentials and progress to the application form.

• The competitors are shortlisted by the Selection Committee. The Selection Committee comprises academicians from all the development-related areas and is led by Senior Advisor to the ISDB President, for Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI).
• The Selection Committee examines all the applications, requests and ranks them based on its selection criteria, examining the eligibility criteria and selection requirements of the ISDB scholarship program.
• The last selection is done by the ISDB President after which the ISDB Scholarship Division announces the results and outcomes to all the selected aspirants.

ISDB Undergraduate Scholarship Program Terms and Conditions:

• The selected nominees should attain admission in any one of the universities or colleges documented among the top universities in each country.
• The candidate should not apply/ accept any other scholarship during the duration of the course of the study and research under the ISDB program. The candidate should submit the first-year cost of his/ her Master’s degree course after the fulfillment of his/ her study.
• In such a scenario, the ISDB will cover the cost of his/ her second-year Master’s degree course or will finance the related cost of the first-year study for a new undergraduate student from the same community.
• The ISDB Program does not cover the Candidate’s family expenses and expenditures, extracurricular training expenses, language courses, and any additional travel expenses during the study program.

Terms and Conditions for the ISDB Master’s Scholarship Program and ISDB Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral Research Program:

• The candidate should not apply/ accept any other scholarship during the time period of the  course of the study under the ISDB program.
• The scholarship recipients are expected to sign the ISDB’s specified Scholarship Agreement that asserts the candidate’s commitment and responsibility towards his/ her studies and pledge to serve his/ her community/ country.
• The scholars are expected to dedicate themselves to their studies full-time without interruption and should provide progress and improvement  reports on their studies and research to the ISDB Scholarship Program regularly.
• The final selection proposal is formulated by the Selection Committee and is approved by the ISDB President. The decision made by ISDB Management is final and last.
• The candidates’ age may not be more than 24 years while applying for the ISDB Scholarship Program.
• The candidate must also provide language proficiency by showing a recognized language certificate such as TOEFL or IELTS.

 IsDB Merit Scholarship Programme for High Technology (MSP)

As we all know the Islamic Development Bank covers different areas, and it also has provisions for Merit Scholarship Programme for High Technology (MSP). This scholarship is dedicated to advanced studies and research which is a 3-year PhD and 6-12-month of post-Doctorate in a total of 16 applied science and high technology areas.
