• Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya is also known as IKSVV.
• This is to point out that IKSVV is a State University.
• Besides, it was established in the year 1956 and is located in Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh.

Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya (IKSVV) Admissions 2024 – The university has started the admission process for 2024. Candidates can apply for IKSVV Admission 2024-25 is 26 July 2024. In the first and second semester all the subjects (Painting, Sculpture and Graphics) are to be studied compulsorily. In the third semestet, only one of these subjects will be opted. In the first and second semester one of the following Languages – Hindi / English / Sanskrit must be opted for study.  Note: Enviromental study is compulsory subject in first and second semester of all undergraduate programmes.

Essential Qualification: Candidates securing 45% marks (aggregate of all years and all subject) at Graduation and 50% marks (aggregate in concerned subject)  will only be eligible for the admission in post.

IKSVV Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

There are certain eligibility criteria which are framed by IKSVV which are to be fulfilled by the candidates who are willing to opt for admission to the courses offered by the university. Candidates must ensure to check out the eligibility criteria and ensure to comply with it before submitting the online registration form for IKSVV Admission 2024-25. We have mentioned below the basic eligibility criteria for various courses which are offered by the university.

For UG courses:

10+2, or 10+2 with Prathama, or 2 Years training Certificate from a famous Guru,

This is to point out that, the upper age limit for courses is 26 years.

Besides, it is 21 years for Prathama and 24 years for Madhyama.

The university conducts an entrance exam for admission to BFA at IKSV Candidates must have cleared Class 12th to be able to eligible for IKSV BFA admission. For MFA, students must hold a BFA from a recognised university.

For M.Phil

PG in the related stream with at least 55% marks.

Besides, the upper age limit is 34 years.

For Ph.D.

M.Phil degree or M.A. degree in the concerned subject

Besides, the candidate should have at least 55% marks

For D. Litt

Ph.D. in the related subject

PG Courses

For admission to the PG degree programmes offered as part of IKSVV Admission 2024-25, the candidates should have completed their Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from an UGC approved institute. There are some other eligibility criteria for some of the courses which you should adhere to.

The upper age limit is 30 years.

For PG Diploma

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject.

This is to point out that, candidates having a second class MA degree in History /Art & Archeology / Culture & Archaeology/Ancient Indian History / are also eligible.

Seats Reservation:

• The university reserves 32 percent seats for those students who belong to the Scheduled Tribe category.
• The university reserves 12 percent seats for those students who belong to the Scheduled Caste category.
• The university reserves 14 percent seats for those students who belong to the Other Backward Caste category.
• The university reserves 3 percent seats for handicapped children. 
• The university reserves 10 percent seats for NRI students.

Application from:

The IKSVV university opens application forms offline. You need to fill out a separate application form for different courses. You should fill correct details in the application form if the university find any fraud information then it rejects or cancels your admission.

IKSVV 2024 How to apply

Firstly, open the official website and click on the admission button

Secondly, fill in all the required details.

Thirdly attach the required documents and click on the submit button.

It is most important to note that, candidates can also obtain the offline application form from University.

This is to point out that, they have to pay Rs. 550/- by cash or demand draft (DD).

Besides, the DD is drawn in favor of the Registrar, IKS Vishwavidyalaya payable at Khairagarh.

IKSVV Exam Eligibility 2024-25

• Students must have at least 75% attendance in the concerned course, failing which he or she shall be barred from appearing in the examination. Under special circumstance, the Vice-Chancellor may allow 15% relaxation, on the recommendation of the Head of the Department.
• Examination forms prescribed for Regular and Private candidates separately shall be accepted up to 45 days before the commencement of the concerned examination with the special permission of the Vice-Chancellor on payment of the special examination fee.
• The application for revaluation must reach the university within 15 days from the receipt of the mark sheet after declaration of result.
• No foreign/NRI student is allowed to appear in any examination as an external candidate.
• If any foreign/NRI student is found to have appeared in any other examination, from an institution not related to I.K.S.V., without obtaining prior permission from this university, the student shall be barred from appearing in the university examinations.
• Medium of writing in the examination is Hindi or English only.
• Eligibility for admission all Post Graduate courses will be as under :
• a. 45% marks aggregate in the qualifying degree exam.
• b. 50% marks in concerned subject (All the 3 years together).

If a student doesn’t find their name in the merit list then the student can select their seat from the waiting list. The Counseling session conducted by the IKSVV university for the students who find their name in the merit list. 

Admit card: 

The university publishes an admit card for those students who registered for the university entrance examination. The students should check all details on the admit card to see if they are correct or not. The university entered details on the admit card which were taken from the application form. 

Procedure for downloading the admit card:

• The students have to visit the official website of the university and enter the application number and password. 
• After downloading the admit card and should take out the printed copy of the admit card. 
• You have to carry this admit card at the counseling center.
