The admission will be based on an entrance exam that is all India basis examination will be conducted by the university. An aspirant who is willing to seek admission in this university first has to meet with the eligibility criteria. The University Fees Structure is based on online mode.
Undergraduate courses; B.Tech (Marine Engineering, Naval & Ocean Engineering, Nautical Sciences, Logistics). A candidate should have passed 10+2 in PCM with minimum 60% of marks in aggregate from a recognized university. The duration of these courses is 4 years.
The fees for B.Sc. in Nautical Science course at Indian Maritime University will be INR 225000 for 1st year. The duration of this course will be 3 years. Candidates must have passed class 12th from any recognised board. The fees for B. Tech. in Marine Engineering in INR 225000 for 1st year. Total fee for Diploma is INR 225000.
The university also provides Diploma in Nautical Sciences and PG Diploma in Marine Engineering. For admission in Ph.D. programs a candidate should have a Postgraduate degree in relevant subject. Admission will be based on merit basis in the entrance exam.
