Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing exam assists students in getting admission into the four year BSc nursing course. It is a national level entrance exam conducted the Directorate General of Medical Services. This examination is conducted only for the females . the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written exam and personal interview .the candidates get to compete only for 220 seats across India. 
Nursing Exam 2021
The examination will be conducted on 11th September 2020 which was earlier postponed due to coronavirus outbreak. According to the guidelines issued by the Indian army applicants were allowed to submit their application forms by 2nd December2019 . the exam’s admit card is now available on Indian army’s official website.
The dates of the examination are announced by the directorate general of medical services (DGMS) . All the events like registration , issue of admit cards ,conduct of exam are conducted in the months of November to may as per the schedule followed by the DGMS every year.

The eligibility criteria for the Indian Army BSc Nursing examination is determined by the the Directorate General of Medical Services (DGMS) to ascertain the capability of the candidates to serve the Indian Army as a nurse. The eligibility criteria for the Indian army bsc nursing exam is listed below :
- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The candidate should have passed 12th or equivalent examination(12 years of schooling in her first attempt .
- The candidate should be 17 years of age .
- The candidate should have a minimum height of 152cms.
- She should have obtained 50 % aggregate as a regular student from a recognized board ,university or examination body with physics ,chemistry and biology (botany &zoology).
- Candidates appearing for the final examination should also apply provisionally (if selected for the course , they will have to submit proof of qualifying the examination)
- For the candidates belonging to the north –eastern region of India minimum height required is 148cms.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to appear for an X-ray examination of the chest and Ultra Sonography (USG) of pelvis and abdomen .

APPLICATION FORM for Indian Army Nursing Exam 2021
THE CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW THE BELOW MENTIONED STEPS FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM:
- REGISTRATION :- Candidates are requested to provide basic details such as name , mother’s name, father’s name , date of birth mail ID, mobile number to get themselves registered.
- OTP VERIFICATION :– Candidates should to get their contact details verified by sending an OTP to their registered mail ID . The OTP has to be submitted on the login page also for confirming the verification.
- FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM :– Candidates have to login into their accounts using the name and password which they created during the registration for filling the application form. They have to fill all their personal and academic details in the application form.
- UPLOADING THE PHOTO AND SIGNATURE :– Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature in the specified format and specifications.
- PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE :– The application process can be conducted only after the payment of fee. After making the payment a DU number will be generated . The candidates are required to keep the DU number with them safely.
- CHOOSING EXAM CENTRE :– Candidates have to select the exam centre according to their convenience. It must be noted that the exam centres will be allotted to the aspirants on first come first basis.
Documents Required:
Following is the list of documents that the candidates needs to keep ready with them from before:-
- Recent colored passport size photograph and they need to scan the photograph and the file size must be in between 5kb to 20kb
- Scanned signature done through black pen on white paper. The file must be in between 5KB to 10KB
RESULT :
The Indian army bsc nursing 2020 result will be declared on Indian army’s official website. The result will be in the form of a merit list which will be published on the website joinindianarmy.nic.in.
After the declaration of the result shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview and medical examination. A final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in all rounds(written exam, personal interview and medical examination) . after qualifying all the rounds the candidates will be given admission in their choice of college out of the six colleges of nursing institutes of india.
