In accordance with this, the Government of India (GOI) has introduced various programmes via which education is accessible to all and is free of cost till 8th standard.
India has numerous universities, institutions and colleges. Today, all these institutions know the importance of education. They have adopted a modern way of teaching where extracurricular activities also play an important role. Such activities help students in their overall development. Not just traditional forms of education, students who want to study but cannot go to school/college or university can now apply for a distance learning course/distance learning education. Nowadays, students can even take a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree programme via online mode. In these unprecedented times, where the work was still due to the Covid-19 surge. Everyone has learnt that it’s not important we should follow the traditional methods. A tinch of modern and uniqueness is always required.
Some people think that education is not necessary. For instance, in most villages girls’ education is not given much importance. As they think in the end, they will get married. Education is not gender biased, as it is important for boys, it is equally important for girls. A popular saying goes, when you educate a man, you educate a person but when you educate a girl, you educate a family. Education will help you understand the positives and negatives/rights and wrongs/ what to do and not etc. Therefore, the government has introduced various schemes that work towards the upliftment of society. Education for all, it is correctly said. Be it girl, boy or third gender, education is not restricted to caste, society, or gender. It’s one for all. Only through education can one bring change to society.
