IITRAM Admission 2026: Application Form, Courses, Last Dates & Eligibility

For admission to IITRAM in 2026, the last date to apply for GUJCET 2026 has been extended by GSHSEB. Interested candidates can now fill out the application form for undergraduate engineering and pharmacy courses in Gujarat at gujcet.gseb.org. The Form Correction option will be available in the last week of February 2026, and can only be done offline. The GUJCET 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted in April 2026. The Gujarati government founded IITRAM in 2013, and it has since received UGC approval. It is located in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad. It is a self-governing university. The university admits students to its undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral engineering programmes. The three specialities in the four-year B.tech degrees are civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. Additionally, it offers entry into three M.tech specialties and 10 Ph.D. specialisations. The new session is scheduled to begin in 2026. IITRAM Postgraduate Course-

Aspirants must have passed B.E./B.tech with minimum 55% marks  for taking admission in M.tech programme. Students shall be shortlisted as per valid GATE scores or Mark’s obtained in the entrance test conducted by the institute. University offers M.tech course in three specializations. List of the Postgraduate courses which are available are-

• M.tech – Civil Engineering 
• M.tech – Electrical Engineering 
• M.tech – Mechanical Engineering. 

IITRAM Ph.D. Course-

The university offers Ph.D. course in 10 specializations. For taking admission in this program, aspirants should have Master’s Degree with 60% Mark’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology with 60% marks.

Application form:

You have to send the hard copy of the application form to the address of the IITRAM university. You have to visit the campus for physical verification of documents on the given date mentioned in the schedule. You have to fill out the application form as soon as possible because the application form of the university is open for a limited time otherwise the university charges the late fees from the students.

IITRAM University admission for B.tech course is based on JEE Main/GUJCET scores/Ranks.

JEE Main Exam Date – 18 July 2026 to 23 July 2026

For M.tech Course-

• Application Form Portal Open – April 2026.
• Last Date to Submit the Hard Copy Application Form – May 2026
• Written Test Examination Date – May 2026.

For Ph.D. Course-

• Application Form Portal Open – October 2026 to November 2026
• Last Date to Submit the Hard Copy Application Form – November 2026.
• Written Test Examination Date – December 2026.

Ph.D. Programs

Candidates who are interested in enrolling in a Ph.D. program are required to have obtained a legitimate master’s degree in the applicable field from a university that is already established before they can be considered for admission. An entrance examination will be required, and this will be followed by a personal interview that will be administered by the institution. Candidates who have already earned a passing score on NET or SLETGATE will be exempt from further examination.

Merit list and counseling:

The university provides the highest ranks to the students who score the highest marks in the entrance examination and lower ranks who score lower marks in the entrance examination. The university advised the candidates to fill out their choice of course after passing the entrance examination.
