IARI Admission Process 2023
INDIAN AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE , PUSA INSTITUTE is accepting admissions through both offline and online modes.
For the courses of Ph.D. , M.Sc & M.Tech applications are accepted online only.
Admissions are done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the university.
ADMISSION PROCESS

IARI SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship for PG students is worth Rs. 10000 per month and for PhD students it is 14000 per month.
RESERVATION CRITERIA
For SC 15 % seats are reserved
For ST candidates 7.5% seats are reserved
For other backward class student 18% seats are reserved
And for physically handicapped students 3% seats are resrved
Application fees for general/OBC applicant is Rs. 500/- and for SC/ST applicants application fee is Rs. 250/-.

The candidate seeking the admission in the postgraduate programme has to give entrance exam and the result will be declared by merit list for 26 courses of the university. The University provide specialization course in given below area:

The candidate seeking admission in doctorate programme under 26 specialization courses should give written test followed by the personal interview. Performance of the candidates in the written entrance examination will be considered as (80% weight) + academic score (10% weight) + interview (10% weight). Entrance will be consisting of two papers and on basis of that the admission will be allocated to the candidate and moreover the marks of metric will be also added. The Candidate can register themselves and apply for the admission by comparing their educational qualification and criteria for the particular course the IARI is providing.
