Gujarat University Of Transplantation Sciences, Ahmedabad Admissions 2026: Last date to online and offline is 30 June 2026 (Tantative). Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences, Ahmedabad is a state university. The Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences (GUTS), established in 2015 under the State University Act, is the first university in the world for transplantation and allied sciences. Prof. H.L. Trivedi, the Founding Director of Smt. Gulabben Rasiklal Doshi and Smt. Kamlaben Mafatlal Mehta Institute of Kidney Diseases & Research Centre – Dr. H.L. Trivedi Institute of Transplantation Sciences (IKDRC-ITS), Ahmedabad, Gujarat, had the idea to establish such a university in 1998. He planted the seed for its establishment. The bill was unanimously approved by the Gujarat Legislative Assembly on March 25, 2015. The Act was ratified, and the University officially opened its doors on May 1, 2015, the day Gujarat State was created.

Additionally, This university has got the name of the first-ever university related to Transplantation and Allied Sciences in the entire globe. Also, The university got the affiliation of the University Grant Commission, New Delhi. The institute offers courses in the field of Liver & Kidney Transplantation Sciences.

GUTS 2026 Fee Structure

• Tuition Fee – Rs. 50,000/-
• Deposit – Rs. 10,000/-

Candidates who are selected in those courses chosen by them must pay the fee within five days of selection. Admission will be canceled if candidates doesn’t pay the fee within seven days. No refund will be given after fees paid. Security deposit will be refunded only after successful completion of the course in which candidates have applied.

GUTS 2026 Application Form

Firstly, Students who want to pursue courses from the GUTS, Ahmedabad need to fill the online form process. The form can be filled through the official website of the university. On the contrary, the student can obtain a hard copy of the application form by visiting the admission campus of the university. The student has to appear in the common entrance test to get admission in the university. Moreover, On the basis of this entrance test, the university will select students for admission. Eligibility Criteria GUTS Admission 2026

The Candidate must check the eligibility criteria from the official website. Students must clear all the criteria to be eligible for admission. Furthermore, Students cannot take admission until they get a clear passage from the university. However, the university provides the course wise eligibility criteria on the website. Finally, The university can cancel the admission at any point of time if the authorities found students not eligible for the admission. 

The duration of M.Ch. Urology course is a 3-year course. One must has a MS/DNB degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.

MPT Course is a two year Postgraduate program. To get admission in this program one must holds the degree of BPT from a recognized university.

Admission will be done based on a candidate’s performance in the entrance test and personal interview which is conducted by the University.

PG admission:

The number of courses is offered by the Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences with different specializations. You have to clear the bachelor’s degree examination with at least 55 percent marks. The admission to the PG course is provided on the basis of marks that you scored in the entrance examination. The entrance test conducted by the university contains 100 Multiple- choice questions and has a duration of 100 minutes. The question is basically based on the bachelor’s degree questions. You have to score at least 50 percent marks in the entrance examination. After that you are able to get admission to this university. 

Admission:

The Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences provides admission on the basis of reservation of seats which is given below:

• For the students who belong to the OBC-NCL category the university reserves 27 percent seats for them. 
• For the students who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category the university reserves 15 percent seats for them. 
• For the students who belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category the university reserves 7.5 percent seats for them. 
• For the students who belong to the Person with disabilities (PWD) category the university reserves 3 percent seats for them. 

GUTS Merit List & Seat Allotment 2026

 The university will release the final list of students for further admission process. The students will get a notification from the university. All the selected students need to report at the counseling center for the seat allotment process. Payment of form needs to be done to book the seat and the university will provide the seat allotment letter for the same.
