GADVASU is a veterinary university situated in Ludhiana, Punjab to promote livestock production, health care, and prevention of diseases through integrated and extension programs. In August 2005, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary Animal Science University was born. Admission to the B.V.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc., M.V.Sc., and M.F.Sc. courses is offered by the university. The university also offers a Diploma and Ph.D. in the same discipline, apart from UG and PG courses. It offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral programs in different streams i.e. Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Dairy Technology, Bio-Technology, Bio-Chemistry, Fisheries, Dairy Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry and many more. As Vice-Chancellor of the Guru Angad Dev University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Dr. Inderjeet Singh was joined by an astute scientist and a teacher par excellence (GADVASU). He is popularly referred to as the “Murrah Man” In research that has popularized the breed and which has greatly helped to augment the farmers’ income, Dr. Inderjeet Singh has great acumenship.

GADVASU.in Fees Structure 2026
Applications are invited for admission to various programs offered by the university. Admission form and prospectus containing detailed information of eligibility criteria, reservation, procedure, number of seats, fee structure etc. available on the official website of the university. The candidates who are willing to seek admission advised to go through the prospectus and read the information carefully before filling the application form.
The courses offered by the university i.e. B.V.Sc & A.H., M.V.Sc, B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, B.F.Sc, M.F.Sc, and Ph.D. For admission in UG programs, candidates should passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board with at least 50% of marks in aggregate.
The fees for B. tech. course at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University is near INR 198000 per annum. For admission, the student must pass the class 12th with 75% marks.
The fees for M. Tech. course is near INR 104000 per annum and duration is 2 years.
There will be no entrance exam for UG courses. That is point out candidates who are under reserved category will have given the relaxation in marks at the time of admission.

Students can pay fees for all the constituent colleges of the university viz; College of Veterinary Science, Ludhiana; College of Veterinary Science, Rampura Phul; College of Fisheries; College of Dairy Sciences & Technology, and College of Animal Biotechnology, Ludhiana, through Demand Draft or NEFT/RTGS [Except NRI/OCI]
For state quota and self-financed
“Demand Draft” of the entire fee favoring the concerned Dean of the college payable at any bank in Ludhiana must be deposited immediately at the time of admission.
Or you can do a “Demand Draft” of Rs.1L minimum for the College of Veterinary Science, Ludhiana and Rampura Phul and Rs.40k for the other colleges related to the university favoring the Dean of respected colleges, which can be paid at any bank in Ludhiana and the remaining amount should be deposited at the time of admission through “Cheque”
