GTU Admission 2026-27: The Gujarat Technological University is a state university offering admission to various courses in different fields of study. In 2007, Gujarat Technological University was established. There are two campuses for this university in Ahmedabad and one in Gandhinagar. The university provides undergraduate programmes in five subjects and graduate programmes in seven fields. Additionally, it offers PhD degrees as well as a 5-year Integrated MBA/MCA programme.

GTU Admission 2026-27 Courses

The Gujarat Technological University offers admission to a number of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research level degree programmes in a number of fields of study. Gujarat Technological University UG Admission:

The admission process for UG courses is online. The candidates should apply via the registration link available on the official website. The registration process starts in the Month of June till September.

After that, the University releases the application form based on Higher secondary examination results with a minimum of 50%marks.

For engineering courses, admission is based on the common entrance test as well as JEE exam scores. Also, higher secondary examinations is considered for admission.

The University offers 5 courses in UG and selection criteria is based on Merit and respective entrance exams if applicable.

Gujarat Technological University B.Arch Admission:

The B.Arch. admission process is conducted online this academic year as per the Government of Gujarat.

The candidates are considered to be eligible if they have passed +2 with 50% marks or with Diploma,10,+3 pattern with 50 % marks.

Gujarat Technological University M.Tech/M.Pharm Admission:

Candidates applying for M.Tech/M.Pharm , admission happens through online for this year.  The minimum eligibility criteria for admission is B.E, B.tech passed with 50% marks and B.Pharm with the same 50% marks.

Additionally, candidates should have been qualified in GATE/GPAT/PGCET.

The University offers Masters in Engineering and Pharmacy.

Gujarat Technological University MBA, MCA Admission:

The candidates should be qualified in CMAT.

For MCA, candidates should have passed 10,+2 or Bachelor’s Degree with  Mathematics will be eligible.

And for lateral entry MCA, candidates who have passed in Bachelor of Computer application or Bachelor of Science(Computer or IT) will be eligible.

Gujarat Technological University Diploma Admission:

The Diploma application process starts from the month of March. Candidates should have passed 10th with Maths, English and science as their subjects. The admission process is through online and selection process is based on Merit.
