Gujarat National Law University Admission 2024-25: The Gujarat National Law University offers admission to a number of degree programmes in the field of legal studies. Admission to various courses offered as a part of GNLU Admission 2024-25 is done on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the CLAT 2024 entrance examination. The CLAT 2024 entrance examination was conducted on 3 December 2024 by the Consortium of National Law Universities. The result for the same is awaited by the candidates. The registration portal for GNLU Admission 2024-25 will be made available after the release of the CLAT 2024 Results.

GNLU Admission 2024-25 Latest Updates

• The online registration form for CLAT 2024 was released by the CNLU in the month of October 2024. 10 November 2024 was the last date to complete the online registration form for GNLU Admission 2024-25.
• The Gujarat National Law University has not yet released the online registration form for admission to the courses which are offered by them as part of their admission process. It is expected to be released in the month of April 2024.

GNLU Admission 2024-25

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) is a statutory institution of higher learning founded by the Gujarati government in accordance with the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003. The Bar Council of India (BCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) (2f & 12B) both acknowledge the university. The University is a part of several other organisations, including the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), International Association of Law Schools (IALS), Asian Law Institute (ASLI), and Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute.

The University offers LLM course in three disciplines and at 5 years duration, below are the courses,

• B.Sc L.L.B (Honors)
• B.B.A LL.B (Honors)
• B.S.W LL.B (Honors)
• GNLU follows a unique, innovative and relevant model of education, research and training. The LLM course includes 6 specializations. The University provides financial assistance and scholarships to students. There is an offer of scholarship for each category. Students are offered with various facilities such as library facility, Medical Centre, halls of creativity and so on.

Additionally, it offers one year Diploma program in five disciplines. Admissions and eligibility criteria is quite different for each course.

In each programme 30% of the seats are reserved for female candidates. The admission fee for all UG and PG courses is Rs. 2000. Application fee of CLAT exam for General category candidates is Rs. 4000 and fee for reserved category candidates is Rs. 3500.

Gujarat National Law University Admission 2024-25 Process

LLB and LLM Admission process:

On basis of Common law admission test score, LLB and LLM admission process starts. Candidates with 10,+2 or its relevant recognized board with 45% marks will be eligible to apply.

For LLM course, candidates with LLB which is 5 year integrated or any equivalent degree with 55% marks will be eligible.

Candidates belonging to State of Gujarat will be considered and 25% of seats will be allowed.

Gujarat National Law University MBA Admission 2024

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equal to 50% CGPA will be eligible to apply.

Likewise, admission to MBA course depends on CAT scores obtained by the candidate. And also it depends on Legal Aptitude test, Group discussion and overall academic record.

Ug admission:

With different specializations, the Gujarat National Law University provides a number of courses under the UG program. You must clear out the class 12th examination with the minimum requirement of marks to get admission to Gujarat National Law University. 5 percent relaxation is given to the students who belong to the reserved category. 

Pg admission:

With different specializations, the Gujarat National Law University provides a number of courses under the PG program. You must clear out the bachelor’s degree examination with the minimum requirement of marks to get admission to Gujarat National Law University. 5 percent relaxation is given to the students who belong to the reserved category.

Gujarat National Law University Ph.D. Admission 2024

The PhD course offered by the University is both part-time as well as Full-time. And the duration of part time is minimum of 3 years to maximum of 5 years. Full time Phd course comes with minimum of 2 years and maximum of 5 years duration.

Candidates with LLM degree in certain disciplines with 55% marks is considered as eligible to apply for PhD.

Selection criteria is based on the Entrance test conducted by the University.

Gujarat National Law University Diploma Course Admission 2024

The candidates with UG degree in any discipline including Law, Business management is eligible to apply for Diploma course.

The University offers Diploma course in 5 disciplines and course duration is 1 year.

Selection Criteria is based on MCQ test and people who applies first.

For attending the counseling session conducted by the university you should have your name on the merit list otherwise you are not able to get admission.
