The Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT), also known as GNIOT, was established in 2001 under the supervision of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam University. GNIOT B.Tech Eligibility
To be eligible for B.Tech, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the optional subjects – Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects. Additionally, they must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in 10+2.
For B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates should have completed an Engineering Diploma in a relevant discipline (excluding Agriculture Engineering/Pharmacy/Architecture) with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
Candidates who have passed B.Sc with Mathematics and scored a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST) in both B.Sc and 10+2 can also apply.

The M.Tech course has four specializations: Mechanical Engineering, VLSI Design, Computer Science, and Civil Engineering. The intake for each specialization is 18 students.
GNIOT M.Tech Eligibility
To be eligible for the M.Tech program, candidates must have obtained a B.Tech degree in the relevant branch with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for reserved categories).
Candidates with an MCA or M.Sc. degree in the relevant stream are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who did not have Mathematics at the 10+2 level are required to qualify for a non-credit course on Mathematics of Intermediate level in the first semester of the M.Tech Program.
Note that candidates with a valid score of GPAT/GATE in the desired branch will be given due weightage.

GNIOT MBA and MCA Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, a candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) from any recognized Indian university or its equivalent recognized by AIU with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category).
For MCA, candidates must have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level.
For MCA Lateral entry, candidates must have completed BCA or B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category). Additionally, they should have passed Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level.
GNIOT Selection Procedure
The selection procedure for all courses at Greater Noida Institute of Technology is the same, as the institute considers the score of the UPSEE exam for admission. Students are granted admission through UPSEE Counselling based on their UPSEE score. The entire selection process is outlined below:
- Students must first register for the UPSEE exam.
- After the exam is over and results are announced, qualified students whose names are listed on the merit list are called for UPSEE Counselling.
- During the counselling process, applicants need to register themselves, pay the counselling fee, upload their documents for verification, and select their choice of course and college.
- Based on the choices filled, seat allotment is done.
- Students who are allotted a seat need to report to the allotted college for further admission formalities.

Applicants have the option to apply online or offline. The steps to apply for both modes are straightforward and outlined below:
Online mode
- Go to the official website of GNIOT and click on “Apply Now”.
- Register online by filling out the necessary details.
- Upload required documents such as photo, signature, and pay the fees.
- Submit the form and note down the application number for future reference.
Offline mode
