Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology ( GJUST): It was established in 1995. Located in Hisar, the state of Haryana. Undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, diploma, and Ph.D. programs are available at the university. The NAAC of Haryana (India) has authorized it as an “A”-rated university. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the relevant program must fill out the form on the official website of GJUST.

Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj was a saint and great environmentalist of the 15th century. Amongst all the saints of the 15th century, Guru Jambheshwar Ji was unique in preaching about the conservation of biodiversity to his followers. He also included the same in his 29 commandments. GJUST Application and Admission Process 2026: 

Admission for the academic year 2022 is open. Applications are available online with an apparent fee payment. For special courses, demand draft payment is available. To sign up for the class, you have to download the application form from the Internet. Select the course and fill in the other details related to fee payment. An application can be filled out directly. You can also download the application. Willing candidates has to undergo an entrance exam. On clearing the entrance he/she will be called for counseling.  Selection is purely based on merit. Elsewhere in some cases, student’s academic scores are considered.

GJUST Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants applying for UG must have completed Grade 12 or any other equivalent.
• Candidates applying for PG must have completed their UG with good academic scores.
• Candidates applying for Ph.D must have completed their PG with good percentage.

Ph.D. Admission:

Interested Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% (5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates) marks or its equivalent grade from a recognized university. 

The duration of the Ph.D. program is minimum 3 years and maximum 6 years in two modes full time and part time.

Exam Pattern: 

All information related to the exam pattern is given below:

1. The paper conducted by the university is of 100 marks and the duration of the exam is 1 hour and 30 minutes. 
2. In paper MCQ type questions are asked. 
3. The university does not do any negative marketing. 
4. The entrance examination is conducted on the combination of following topics:

GJUST Application Form Fees

The university charges specific fees for the application form and students need to deposit those fees to complete their registration. For UG/PG Courses, students need to pay Rs 1400 (General Category), Rs 350 (SC/ST/OBC Category) and Rs 700 (EWS Category). 

Important Instructions for Reserved Category Seats:

The reservation of seats will be as per the latest Reservation Policy of the State Government.

All the eligible students whether from Haryana or from Reserved Category shall also compete for seats allocated under All India Category.

All eligible candidates of reserved categories shall be considered first for Haryana General Category seats.

Counselling Process:

On the day of counseling, candidates are required to bring their original documents together with the application form and two sets of photocopies of vital documents in order to be present at the institution. Applicants should also bring two sets of photocopies of the application form. After receipt of the application fee payment, confirmation of admission will be sent out. When entering the institution, each and every applicant is expected to conduct themselves in accordance with COVID-19 regulations.

Placements: The training and placement cell is responsible for coordinating the students’ off-campus training and employment opportunities. There are many different companies that come to campus, some of which are Magic International, Seigwerk, Monotech, and Delta Group, amongst many other businesses. Under the category of graduate courses, the university provides a total of 45 regular classes.
