GRI Admission 2024-25: The Gandhigram Rural Institute offers admission to various UG, PG, and research level degree programmes in various fields of study. Admission to the courses offered by the university is done on the basis of the marks scored in the CUET 2024 entrance examination. The online registration form for GRI Admission 2024-25 is expected to be released in the month of April 2024.

The online registration form for CUET PG 2024 has been started by the National Testing Agency on their official website. Candidates who wish to opt for admission to the PG programmes offered as part of GRI Admission 2024-25 must ensure to submit the online registration form before the last date. 07 January 2024 is the last date to submit the online registration form for CUET PG 2024.

GRI Eligibility Criteria 2024-25

Now, to get admission in B.Com. and B.B.A. programs , candidates must have to clear their 10+2 class or equivalent from any recognized Board with a minimum percentage as it is set by the University. Moreover, for the admissions in B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry programs , candidates must have cleared their 10+2 examination from any recognized Board with any relevant subject along with a percentage of atleast 45% marks in aggregate.

Then, for the B.Ed. admissions candidates need to complete their UG or PG courses with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from any recognized University.

Candidates must obtain 55% marks in UG/PG degree to be able to participate in GRI BEd admission process. Gandhigram Rural Institute UG admissions are merit based. Candidates must note that B.Tech admission is offered based on entrance exam. Gandhigram Rural Institute Application forms for all the courses will be available Online. Admission to BA, BBA, B.Sc, B.Tech, and Integrated courses courses will be done through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). 

Similarly for the admissions in M.Ed. programs candidates need to pass UG or PG courses with 50% marks in B.Ed. from any recognized University.

Candidates who are willing to seek admission in Ph.D. program must possess a PG degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university. Admission will be done through entrance test followed by personal interview conducted by the university. Candidates who have qualified NET/SLET/GATE examination will be exempted from the test but they have to clear the interview.

NOTE: Moreover for the candidates of SC/ST, 5% of relaxation will be given to the candidates.

Procedure for Filling Online Application Form

Step 1. Application form costs Rs 600. SC/ST candidates can have one application form for free.

Step 2. Students are advised to read e-prospectus carefully before filling the application form.

Step 3. Candidates have to identify the Programme Group.

Step 4. Candidates can apply for any two programs in one application.

Step 5. Candidates have to first register before login and must have a valid email id and mobile number. Candidates will be provided username and password through SMS and E-mail.

Step 6. Make final submission on or before last date. Candidates’ application will be valid only after final submission.

M. Tech. :- Students should appear and qualify the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Eligible candidates have to fill an application form on the website of the institute for admission to the institute. Candidates who have not appeared in GATE examinations will have to appear an entrance exam conducted by GRI.
